What a curious device this is. And, a very convenient means of communicating as well — but I'm going off on a tangent.

My name is Ruva, and I'm what one calls "new" here. There seems to be a language that involves gesturing with one's hands, and I was wondering if anyone was willing to teach it to me. I'm afraid I have little to offer in compensation, but I would be ever grateful.

Also, if I'm understanding correctly, we're to complete these quests? While I'm still trying to grasp all this, I'd like to be of help, in those or around the town. I'm not much good in a fight, but I make for a decent healer, if that would be of use to anyone.

Trust me, I already know. I've heard that warning so many times already.

Besides, it's not like we ASK to get attacked. Sometimes they just end up coming into town instead of staying in the forest like they usually do.

there have been a couple of punishments, but I don't know how they're judging them
not that long ago my girlfriend failed one of her quests and got stuck with a curse for, like, a week
drove her crazy

I don't know what kind of things you're assuming, but it'll be very proper.

It's something we can discuss, but I'm not sure if we have the sources for a project that big right now...

but that's the only example I've heard of
some of the people who've been around longer might know better though

A pity. It sounds like it'd be useful. Then again, the means of doing so where I'm from was provided by a god, so it makes sense that it'd be beyond our capabilities.

Not really. But we're in a new place, so it makes sense to try new things.

Creation... that would explain a lot.

But wait, if the gods back home provide for you, does that mean you're able to communicate with them directly?

It's possible, but not common, especially after the races were separated. You'd have to receive an oracle from them, unless one is summoned to the human realm.
