A magician throws a ball as hard as he can. It stops, changes directions, and comes right back to him. He does this without magnets, wires, or bouncing the ball off of anything. How does he do it?

Well, I certainly think that's the case. It's hard to prove, but we don't have evidence for anything else, so it's really the most likely option!
