[He's playing with him. Toying around. Even knowing that, though, Guren can't stop his internal reaction. His stomach dropping, his heart pounding even harder. Rage is boiling inside of him and he wants to take it out on this vampire, on someone he can call a "bad guy" and be done with it. But he knows better. He knows that wouldn't solve anything.

He knows he doesn't stand a chance, too. His air is pretty restricted like this, and he's trying to focus on breathing. Fingers curl uselessly tighter into Crowley's wrist, but he gives up on his legs and lets them dangle.]

You wouldn't dare. [He should shut up, and he's very aware of this. The more he says, the more it's like an invitation, encouragement. But he can't help it. He's bold, here in this small town. One noble vampire... Maybe they stand a chance.]

It doesn't matter how strong you are, bloodsucker. I'll still find a way to tear you apart.

[ He really should. ]

Is that a promise? [ He doesn't care very much for threats, considering he can tear those down without a blink of an eye -- has been for centuries, and tires of the idea of having to do it again. ] Then I guess I won't kill you... today, at least.

[ He finally releases his hold on Guren, dropping him to the floor like a rag doll. ]

I'm actually really looking forward to it, so don't keep me waiting for too long, alright~? I'm only willing to be this kind once every couple of decades, y'know?

[Guren drops to his feet, and then down to one knee so that he can cough and recover from that. Thanks, ya big bully. He's full of adrenaline now, and he really wants to just reach out and shank Crowley himself, but that would go nowhere good. He has to get back to Dextera.]

Yeah, yeah.

[He'll make it good, just for you, Crowley. Shifting, he pushes himself to his feet.]

Just give me some time. [At least Guren has humor about it.] And stick to just me.

Haha. [ It's a hollow laugh. ] About that... I drank from someone already, but I'm definitely not making them my top pick so you can still hold your title as the number one livestock!

But first, that comment is enough to make Guren's blood run cold. The glare that he shoots through Crowley expresses that plenty, and killing intent spikes to ridiculous levels, but he still only grips at his sword, still.]

Guren draws his sword, and that power increases that much more. It's hard to hold back this desire for power when he wants to kill so badly.]

[ Crowley only leans against a nearby table, shrugging his shoulders casually as he raises a brow. ]

What are you gonna do? Give 'em a slap on the wrist and put them in time out? I don't think anyone appointed you as the town dad, but if they did it's about time everyone comes together and reconsiders that motion.

[I can't believe you're making me do this back here, you know Guren's a fool.]

Ahhh!! [So, of course he's going to yell and swing with full force at Crowley. He is going to destroy this library, please stop him.]

[ KDSJFAKDFSJASDFK CROWLEY LITERALLY JUST... DID VAMPIRE THINGS!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!

Also, brave of you to assume that he'll actually do anything to stop Guren from destroying the library. ] Ah? [ His provoking is completely intentional, but he honestly found it more believable of Guren to drag him outside for a fight.

Ah, well, it doesn't really matter to him any.

Crowley leaps onto the table, taking wide strides back in order to avoid his attack and drop down to the other side. ] Hey, what are you so mad about? [ Placing a hand on the table, he promptly pushes it towards the human with relative ease -- which means that it's going in the same force as a truck. Fucking rip Guren if he gets hit by that. ]

It's really not my fault if people offer themselves up to me~

[SHUT UP HE'S ANGRY!!

He's able to jump over that table as it's slid his way, but just barely, and he's full on jumping at Crowley to swing again. He's really angry! Crowley can probably tell from his strikes, even if Guren is still just a widdle human.]

It's... entirely your fault, you bastard! Don't accept it!

His lips curl into a sly grin, eyes red yet burnishing gold in excitement as their reflection are caught in the glint of Guren's blade. And soon his, as he unsheathes his sword and holds it horizontally to parry his attack. ]

You should have known that this would happen sooner or later, why are you acting so surprised?

[Guren doesn't bother replying to him, this time. He's focused, trying to use tactics to outweigh the fact that he's completely outmatched here. He can still back down, he shouldn't push this too far.

But he still wants to push it for now. A little more of his demon's power, a draw back after the parry and another slash, trying to get at least one damn hit in. He's always stuck in these situations where he can never manage even one. It's... infuriating.]

Crowley's entertained, to say the least; there's a intense wave of fighting spirit and the intent to kill in Guren's movements, and while the vampire's own doesn't meet with the same amount of vigor there's no doubt that he's enjoying the situation. It's a change of pace from the usual and he wants more of it, drinking it all in, and perhaps that confidence is what contributes to Guren finally landing a hit of him.

Blade meets skin, cutting into his collarbone and nearly cutting into his ear -- only barely stepping out of the way to dodge the full piercing effect of Guren's sword. There's no click of his tongue or sign of annoyance for being struck, instead the bead of sweat that trickles down from his temple and to his chin is in response to pure excitement.

He puts some distance between them, bringing his blade back before mumbling: ] Sword, drink my blood. [ Spikes erupt from the handle of his blade, piercing through the palm of his hand and effectively coloring the entirety of his blade in a coat of blood red. He's not even so much as phased by the familiar pain as he draws his sword horizontally and sends a dangerous blast -- dodge and it'll probably shatter windows and destroy more property but stop it and uh????? Guren's gonna get sent... soaring... flying.... there's not a star in heaven that we can't reach ]

Mahiru-no-yo!

[Similarly, Guren calls for more power, but that's not enough. He can't dodge the high school musical blast from the past. He goes soaring and flying all the way back, wincing as he shifts his blade behind him. He's pulled this move before.]

Swallow the attack! [The blade digs into the wall behind him, and black energy leaks from the blade as it absorbs most of the force from Crowley's hit. This means that Guren is still alive! And his bones aren't as crushed as they might have been normally!

He kicks off from there shortly after, already experiencing a boost in his power as he goes in for a fake attack from the front, a real one from the side. He's just jumping all over, really, look at him go.]

[ HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL HOW DARE YOU EFKAF;E;

He's seen this before, but even if it's the second or third time Crowley can't help the little flutter of amusement that aches in his chest the moment Guren exposes that power of his. It's frightening and ugly, the black energy like mud as it corrupts the very air between them to express the power held inside that sword.

So while Guren is monkeying around Crowley's just... thinking about how bad he wants to tear him apart? From his skin to the organs protected by his rib cage, he wants to crush bones and tear through flesh to see what just makes this human so interesting.

Is this joy?

When the opportunity arrives he grabs Guren by his arm, throwing him overhead and slamming him into a nearby table. Causing the legs to break and the wood to be split in half. ]

Right, so will you calm down for a moment before I actually kill you?
