 Feel free to ignore this message, as I am about to do something that is called, I believe, "venting it out". I am aware I could merely write this out and then delete it without posting it, but if the people, person, or things behind our abduction are reading this, then I do want them to see this.

Now, it has been my theory that those who were brought here were chosen for a reason, be it their fighting prowess, magical talent, skills in farming, cooking, gardening, people with leadership potential, and so on and so forth. But with this recent batch of newcomers, this theory of mine has been shaken to the core, if not entirely dismantled.

Because what in the name of every sacred god in the realm could a small CHILD possibly be of use towards us and the restoration of the town? I don't care if her tears can cure diseases or she can summon demons with a snap of her fingers, there is no reason to tear a child from their parents and thrust them into the frightening arms of a stranger! This is cruelty beyond measure, and I will not stand for it! Mister F, or whoever decides these things, let this be my official declaration of war towards you!

Because if I should ever be in the presence of the psychotic madman who thinks their pathetic town is worth scarring a little girl for life, let it be known you shan't escape my wrath! I'll make you rue the day you ever laid eyes upon us!

Pardon my language, but when we meet, I'M STICKING MY PARASOL UP WHERE THE SUN DOESN'T SHINE!!!

I had hoped to feel a little better after getting that all out, but it appears my rage is not so easily quelled. Suggestions are welcomed.

Most of this town consists of kids in my eyes. None of them should be here, worrying about what's going to happen and unable to have the chance to really be kids.

I'd offer something to help stave the anger, but I usually just cook, personally. Or find a feasible shooting range, but... I'm not sure either of those things would be your cup of tea.

If nothing else, we could try looking around the forest again. We might get lucky and have it yield answers to going home.

[ she doesn't really want to debate the reasons for why people are brought here. to her everything must serve a purpose, even the things that seem wildly out there. however, she also lacks trust in the higher beings of this realm who govern the methods in which people arrive. though she doesn't know the child in question, other children have been brought here too, and that doesn't sit well with her at all. ]

I hope they do read your message. I suspect they must be watching over this forum somehow, considering they bestowed it upon us.

That is hardly the point. There is a little girl, barely ten years old if I had to guess, and there is no great purpose for her being here. There can't be! It's cruel and abuse, plain and simple. She should be safe at home!

It took me a while to get her name, she's terribly frightened. I believe it was "Kisa", she was speaking so softly.

it just sounds like you're making a lot of assumptions about this young girl and getting mad about it. if you've actually asked her and she's a normal girl who misses her family, then okay, I'll back off, but think about what you're saying and what you're actually upset about
like I said, how it is any different than the other people who got pulled here away from their families and aren't prepared for this?

Who would think to ask that? But even so, I couldn't get a word out of her - she's so frightened, it was a miracle I got her name! I'm not going to apologize for being upset over her.

As for the rest of us, the majority of people here are adults or at the very least are old enough to survive without their parents. This child is barely ten, if I had to guess! So if you have to ask about the difference, what in the name gods kind of world do you come from, where scared ten-year-olds should be treated no differently than a grown woman?
