Greetings, all. This is Maribelle, and it has been a while since my list of everyone's abilities has been updated. Now seems as good a time as any to do so.

For those unaware, I keep a list - and also on the town postboard - of everyone's abilities and skills, so we know who to turn to if we need aide for certain things. For example!

Maribelle :  #ffff99 : horse, healing magic, offensive magic.

So if someone needed to go into battle that needs long-distance tactics, have an injury that requires fast attention, or need transport, you can come to me.

Of course, this is all voluntary. If you're not comfortable sharing your skills, I certainly won't force you. Comfort and privacy are one of the few remaining privileges we have in this bizarre prison of ours.

In addition, I am looking for one talent in particular today - I am in need of a strong steel leash, perhaps like a chain-link. A companion of mine has recently come into possession of a rather dangerous animal, but I believe with proper training they can and will be a useful asset.

Somehow I am insulted yet I completely understand.

I trained years to know how everything in that machine works! I wasn't trying to insult you.

It's not on you, I'm just frustrated. It appears that, compared to everyone else, my realm is astoundingly behind in terms of technology.

Hey, every world is different. I just found out by coming here that there are worlds with phones that take pictures. We were so damn wrapped up in wars that we perfected mobile suits and not much else.

I suppose that is a little sobering, if not depressing.

I suppose, given the circumstances, that might be best for now. Especially if it's a fire-breathing dragon.

Totally depressing. But hey, like I said before - we won. All we can hope now is we're given the chance to catch up to where we should be.

And maybe actually fix the damn colonies before they completely fall apart.

"Fix the colonies"? As in repair your land?

Not exactly.

A bunch of countries split off in to space colonies ages ago. I was born on L2, which was originally an American colony. Problem is everything got so, so wrapped up in the wars that a lot of the needed maintenance and upkeep went to the wayside.

Which. If something important breaks down in space its kind of bad for everyone involved.
