USER #030066

Black-as-can-be cats arrive a-pair,
Up on a rooftop, a plaintive eve,
And on the tips of their pointed tails hung
A wispy crescent-moon, looking hazy.
'O-wah, good evening,'
'O-wah, good evening!'
'O-wah, o-wah, o-wah!'
'O-wah, the man of this household is bedridden.'

A poem by Sakutaro Hagiwara, that I heard once from a friend. It seems things have calmed down since #FFFFFF arrived, but I wonder if that's the end of it.

How is everyone's literary analysis? I think we should be prepared for more mysterious messages, and maybe there's a way to prevent it before it gets bad.

do you really think everything's going to be presented to us in weird cryptic messages from now on?

i really hope not too because all i got from that was that two cats are coming and they control the moon and the sun cycles with their tails which seems kind of weird.
but on the other hand you have a good point about trying to be prepared if it is true. so thanks.

[He's trying, but luckily he doesn't care about being right in this case.]

people taking initiative is always worth something.
but haha thanks! i think. i know that is probably not what it is really saying but now i am kind of curious what the real message was.

[... NO]

That's... really sad to hear. My mp3 player probably won't last much longer, but if you ever want to listen to more songs, you're welcome to use it.

[Because not hearing music is too depressing for him to contemplate.]

i thought the saying was that knowing is half the power or something like that.
but we have been doing ok for ourselves even without an answer so far. at least i think so.

don't think like that! that poem is kind of gloomy, but it still made feel something. that's what poems are supposed to do, right? so if you have more you should definitely share them with us.

and if you do, maybe i can find a happy poem just for you. someone around here has to know one! :)

You don't have to.

But...whether I use it or not, it's going to die soon.

So if you want to, please don't think it's an imposition.
