[Minato is finally going to address the network! Ooooh, aaaah.]

Hey...it's Minato. I haven't really been counting every single day because sometimes things went wrong or there were those kidnapping instances and things like that, but...

Anyway, point is, isn't it getting close to a year now that we've been here? I'm not really sure of the exact day but we must be getting close. It's weird to think about, but it's kind of nice too. To think that we've been given all of this time that we otherwise wouldn't have had together.

[Yeah, together. Definitely not just in general.]

Well, it was just a thought. Like maybe we should do something for it, or something... I don't know if "celebrate" is really the right word, but it doesn't feel right leaving it without doing anything at all either.

Regardless, I guess one thing we should really consider is getting together again to talk about the things we've found or learned. It's been a long time since we've done any meeting up or chatting about that sort of thing. Organizing something like that sounds like a lot of work though, so maybe not.

That's all. Thanks for reading.

Hard to believe it's been that long, hasn't it? A celebration sounds like fun, though! We haven't had anything like that recently.

Also, you're right about needing to discuss things. I was just thinking a group that meets up every other month to share new information could be a good idea. Even if it's a lot of work, it would be an easy way to keep everyone updated on important information all at once.

The town has changed a lot since we first got here. I don’t think a celebration is the right word either, but I think we should be happy with our progress.

We made something all our own.

I wonder if the changes will last once we leave, though. I want the people who come after us to have a good life.

A celebration sounds fun.

[But normally his friends plan that sort of thing, so...]

I hope so.

It seems like a lot of us have been having dreams about the past and future of the town, haven’t we? I don’t know what it is we need to hold onto, but I think we’ll see it pay off soon.

We have to.

Food.

But I just like when everyone hangs out together. What about you, Minato?

I've been keeping track of time as best as I can; I'd say we're around two weeks away from the one year mark. It's hard to believe sometimes.

I've also been trying to collect information, though I do agree a town-wide meeting would make it easier. Without Guren-san's leadership and Zelda-san's wisdom, though, I wonder who else would be willing to take action.

I agree. It has certainly been life-changing to be forced into so many odd situations with so many people we otherwise might not have been able to meet, or not spent so much time with.

As for good leaders... Well! Since you brought it up, it would make sense that you should step up to the position, wouldn't it?

I don’t know about that, but I don’t think it’s completely hopeless either.

Though I wonder… how long this town went without anyone tending to it.

Oh, I agree it would be plenty of work, but you can't argue that it makes sense. The call to action is, in fact, an act of taking the initiative in its own right. That is exactly what a leader would do.

[ Because he's a piece of shit, that's why. ]

Not at all. Though you may be the aloof type, I can tell you're fairly competent. Have you ever been in a position of leadership before?

[That's definitely not an in general sort of thing, but she won't say anything if he won't?]

we don't have to call it a celebration
just a get-together
an anniversary or something

if we make it a potluck and just have people come if they want to or not then it doesn't have to be a lot of work
or maybe someone will see this and be kind and volunteer
then all we'd need is someone to take notes

It's been a long time now... I guess it was the harvest festival...

[Except that was created by the town and involved some forced partying. It's been even longer since they all voluntarily gathered together.]

I guess we all got busier as time went on. A lot has happened.
