Hey... everyone. It's Keith.

So a couple things. I guess.

First. Someone brought it up already I think. A while back, but people are going missing. I know it's happened at least a couple times. Not anyone I ever really met, but one guy I was assigned to as a sparring partner, but I couldn't find him. It really seems like he's gone. Even his code has been struck from the network. Which seems pretty deliberate.

Is there anyone else?

If people are disappearing, or wandering off and getting hurt or... worse... I guess most people probably have friends to look out after them. Maybe not everyone though.

But even so, if people are disappearing and none of us know how or why. I think that's something we should probably at least think about and what it means for the rest of us.


Second. So I guess it's a little easier now that there are some colors to help remember, but the whole username code thing is confusing in keeping track of who is who. At least it is for me.

If it were voluntary, what do people think about putting together some sort of directory? Something we could keep updated and search by name and/or code.

It might help us keep track of people too.

And... If people do think it's worth pursuing, I'd be really grateful if anyone better at computers than me wants to help making it user friendly.

EDIT: And apparently some people are turning into statues. Which sounds horrifying. Anyone have info on this? Do we know how to reverse it?

you should give yourself a little more credit! it's easy to worry about yourself, but you have to be extra kind to keep everyone else in mind, too. you sound like a really good person, keith!

a good start would be fixing vriska and asking her if she remembers how it happened. a first-hand account is a good idea even if she will probably just yell about it for a while.
the other question is if it is possible for someone to disappear and be transformed at the same time or if they are two different instances.

That's rather contradictory. If your memories filled in the gaps, wouldn't it be the same as being told your own brain was lying to you? To you, it would seem as though they had never existed in the first place. Even if something of theirs were left behind, it would be reasoned away as something else.

I can at least say I've seen such a thing happen before. If it happens again here and you react any differently than they did, you'll have managed to surprise me.

Don't know. Hasn't happened to me. But I've watched my friend struggle with missing memories, things that just aren't there for him. And then watching them come back, sometimes. It's hard to watch. It must be harder to go through.

I don't care much about surprising you. I hope it doesn't happen, for everyone's sake. We've got more than enough quiznak to deal with here.

It would. Having a first hand witness would be a huge help. And finding a way to reverse this for Vriska's sake, but also in case it happens again.

I really do think that's a good sign.

[Keith arrives before too long, hesitating awkward at the door for a moment before lifting a hand to knock.

And then he stands back to wait, trying not to fidget. Failing a little in that, he shifts from one foot to another.]

[Izuku pulls the door open with a slight smile.] Hey, you're just in time. I just finished copying everything.

[And he'll lead Keith over to the table where he has his notebook laid out, before sliding a page he's clearly torn out over to him.]

Here's everything I have so far. I included the names of people I met that first day, too. I haven't managed to get their hex codes yet...
