so. back home, we figured out a way to travel between alternate universes.

we really just managed to go to a world just like our own but different. like, i was a guy sort of different? or people i know lived different lives and also were no longer adult men but teenage girls sort of different.

but i don't see why we can't travel to the worlds of some of the people here! i mean, how different would it be? if we could find someway to meet each other again after all this is over...I'd really like to be able to do that! i don't know if there might be anything that'd make it easier? i don't know much about this topic so if anyone has any idea of how to make it easier for me to find everyone i've become friends with here i'd be happy to hear it!

anyway, what do you think your alternate selves would be like? my guy self is an ikemen but he's so dumb looking...and rude too! why can't alternate me be a gentleman?

Kaoru!

This is a wonderful idea. If and when we are ever able to return to our worlds, it would be heartwarming to see each other again, even the people who have previously left. Everyone I’ve met here has been so incredible to become friends. It would be too sad to know you might not see anyone again, even after you leave. [ She knows it’s possible to traverse worlds because 1) they’re here and 2) her world literally has such a mechanism. ]

I’m sure there are quite a few beautiful worlds out there, too, and ones that are peaceful, [ You know, without wars. ] that if and when we travel to, would be fun to reunite. For instance, I’d love to see your world, Kaoru. [ She can learn more idol dances!! And wear and high school uniform! ]

right!? i wasn't sure something like this could be done before, but i think, it shouldn't be too different from what we did last time!

now i don't have to settle for just keeping people in my heart!

and i think it'd be great to see other people's worlds too!! i got a glimpse of some before but that wasn't the same, you know? there was no one else in those and i couldn't even see all of it!

[But uh. Her world is...well. She'll just have to kick Black Phantom's ass so it's safe again.]

an ikemen is a good looking guy. the sort that are sharply dressed, slender and intelligent looking? except guy!me was clearly an idiot that didn't know a cute girl when he saw one!!!

more modern! with lots of tall buildings! At least in the city I live. there are some more rural areas too!

there are a lot of people living in tokyo so it's always really busy!

i hope so! i'd cry if all my alternate selves are like him...he's the worst!

i have no idea what a different version of myself would be

pretty sure we're around the same age. even if it's true that boys mature later than girls it's not really an excuse.

everywhere! i want to visit sensei! and you and wei wuxian! and pyra too! i also want to meet rin's friends!

and i want to show all of you the city i grew up in! you can even meet my friends!

kyousuke might try to bully you but i'll make sure to take care of him before hand! oh and you could even meet aoi!

[And as for everyone else...they'll definitely be there too. Because she's going to save all of them.]

and then we can have a party with everyone! it can be at my house! or on the catastrophe if there isn't enough room!

alternate versions of ourselves should hold true to who we are at our cores
if they're entirely different then they're not us are they?
they're simply different people altogether
perhaps that is why that version of yourself was the way he was

i don't think so.

my upbringing and how i was treated was all affected by the powers i had.

that was more important to society than my gender. since he has the same powers, they probably treated him about the same way.

if it's something big like that...then i also can't imagine a version of me that wasn't an esper.

all the suffering i'd gone through wouldn't have happened if i didn't have this power.

but there are also people i couldn't have helped without these experiences. people i wouldn't have met.

it's just very strange to think about! because terrible things have happened because of my power, but it's also been the catalyst for some of the most important meetings in my life.
