it's never been this bad but every now and then we'd get a terrible quest like it.
i think the first one we ever got like it was "steal someone's colour". sometimes we'd get ones like bury someone alive or throw them in the harbour but they don't need you to hurt someone.
they're more like very poorly thought out trust exercises?
but then we'd get ones like this one and the colour stealing one, one where we need to destroy someone's things and those feel like they're meant for us to hurt each other.
I don't know that well the quests form before I showed up a few months back, but since I have, yup, definite pattern.
Also I'm not sure if last month's cutting down trees counts as part of the pattern or not. Since that tends to have consequences. And we don't get much communication outside the quest notices and the whole story thing there.

Like:
Push somebody in the harbor.
Bury somebody alive.
Give someone a near death experience.
Don't like where it's going, at all.

[shiro isn't liking where this is headed.]
and this started only a while ago, didn't it? was there any indication of this trend beyond the announcements?
i'm shiro, by the way. can't quite say i'm glad to make your acquaintance without sounding morbid, considering the subject matter.

what would it even accomplish? isn't the goal here to form bonds? that's what i was told earlier, about why we're were.
how would negative bonds help? have they helped?
