Despite what most might wish, it's become evident that the lot of us will be here for some time. It's irresponsible to continue without a baseline to work on in regards to sustaining us long term.

A garden is a fair start, of course. However, with the ever-increasing amount of danger, it would be worth investing in a clinic of sorts.

It should be a designated spot, ideally as near to the center of town as is convenient, with supplies available for first aid. If anyone would care to volunteer to maintain it, it would be best to have someone knowledgeable on site or nearby, should their services be required.

We have healers among us to handle more extensive injuries, but if there are any doctors who might be familiar with more than just first-aid as well--perhaps medicine, or experience with making it? If not, then anyone willing to learn will suffice. We may not have the materials needed for anything extensive, but there are those among us who would benefit from even some basic supplements, I'm sure.

It's best to assign such roles early, rather than wait until it's required. We don't know when we might need it.

That sounds useful as well. I know someone who would appreciate having the arms.

And maybe this is less pressing, but I think a maid café might be welcome for some people.

[ someone mentioned really enjoying them to him... he doesn’t know...!!! ]

[ why is he so vehement... absolutely not? surely there's some wiggle room here? she was so passionate about the maids. they seem necessary. ]

No? I thought it sounded nice.

Once again, I am forced to state the obvious - I would never withhold my help!

It's not that I don't trust my judgment, but you were the one who suggested we make a clinic!

I just thought you'd want to approve it in case you had anything specific in mind. It would be less time consuming than if you decided you didn't like what I picked out, right?

It isn't perfect, but I'm capable of using a healing spell. Good for keeping people on their feet. And if necessary I'm skilled in field aid for emergencies. I was a soldier back home. I've seen a lot.

It isn't medicine, but adding another name to the list of people who can respond if something happens is always a good idea.

And if you ever need me to keep an eye out for something outside the town, just give me a list.

It’s not for me. [ he considers an exclamation point here, but he doesn’t want to look defensive! it just factually is not for him. not that that makes any of this better. ] I just thought it was something for the list.

Are maids not morally upright?

No! It’s not like that!

[ dextera is too innocent to realize that he’s being played, though not too innocent to understand now that maids must be a fetish thing—at least when a guy his age talks about them?! for kaoru, it’s probably fine. he believes in her, even now.

but this... this is terrible. ]

That’s not at all what I meant! I’ve never even seen a maid.

You have to believe me. I’m not trying to be lecherous. I just wanted to help!

Even if they did maintain their medicinal value, the taste is really a hindrance. Even medicine that tastes bitter... I'd say that bitterness is part of the cure, after all. The mind is a powerful tool when it comes to medicine. There are some people's imaginations so powerful they can conjure a disease and its cure all in one afternoon!

It's a shame that #ffffff doesn't respond to requests when it comes to, well, requests. As it stands, we have to roll with things as they're presented to us...

I had no idea there were healers here...! That's amazing!

I spent a lot of my childhood in hospitals, so people tell me I'm good with bedside manner and stuff like that.

I mean, I wasn't ever around people in critical care with open wounds and stuff, so I know more about chronic illnesses than anything. But I know a lot about painkillers and how nurses treat people that aren't feeling well! Um, and oxygen therapy and nebulizers and IVs and stuff... though I guess we probably won't have any of that.

But enough about that! I really want to help out in any way I can!!!!

As restorative, yeah. The rest are elemental spells. Intended for battle but there are plenty of uses for them if you get creative.

Wait, amputation?! But you just said there are healers! They should be able to take care of it all, right?!

[Because this obviously works just like a video game and even deadly injuries can be healed.]

Yay! If they'll have me, I'll do my best!
