How sure are you that you're still alive? Back where you're from I mean.

Like on a scale from 1 to 10. Where 1 is "I definitely died" and 10 is "I'm definitely still alive" and everything in between.

I haven't heard of Voltron or the resistance before. Are they something like heroes where you come from?

I think I get you, though. A while ago I jumped in front of Fat and used my own body to buy him the time he needed to come up with a counter attack. I was already fully broken at that time and knew that going in there again would most likely pulverize me slowly but... Okay, that sounds unmanly, but I was more scared of what would happen if I didn't do it. So I just did it anyway, even though I could have gotten killed.

Getting back is a whole other problem, though. Especially since it looks like we're stuck in another reality altogether. Have you had any experience with them? It would be helpful if we could figure out a way to at least send messages back home...

I guess so. I feel like we should probably know them though. Like to tell people how to contact us. Or something.

Yeah. Sounds good. I'll keep you updated on what I do or don't find. And what I figure out for the directory, someway to get people to use it and keep it easy to find.

Nah, it's fine. I guess everyone has their own philosophies they're used to.

Heh. I don't always hear that. Usually people think there are enough moody teenagers in the world.

It sounds like you have a lot of reasons to be moody. Right now, we all do.

I'm not buying the accident line. Why not come out any say something? Why hide? Why have things prepared for us specifically if it's some sort of screw up?

Maybe not a button, but if we were brought in, there's a way out too. Haven't met many doors that are only one way, and even if this one is, I'm not planning on accepting that without fighting to find another way.

Huh. Yeah different comets I assume. And definitely different worlds. The things he and his pals can do aren't something I've ever seen back home. One guy flew me out of the well -- no tech, just flying.

They don't want us to. They want us isolated and not able to reach out for help. I suppose we're "fortunate" they gave us these to keep in contact with each other. But that's also definitely so they can spy on what we're saying, I'm sure.

Yeah, that's a good word for them. Back home, we got caught up in ths alien war. This one group has been conquering the galaxy piece by piece for millennia, and we're finally starting to turn the tide against them, get people back their freedom. And there's now way that happens without Voltron.

Doesn't sound unmanly. Sounds brave, to take that sort of risk no matter what state you were in.

Yeah maybe.

With other realities? Yeah. I've been to one before. I don't get the details of the science behind them, but I know the basic theory and all.

Ha. Yeah, there's a lot pissing me off right now. I think everyone's probably in that same boat.

maybe they're socially awkward? i'm not saying the evil plot angle isn't possible. but there could be a lot of other reasons right? i think it's okay to be angry and it's okay to be upset and i'm right with you about letting whoever did this know that but i don't think we should just assume they're some kind of evil mastermind without any reason.

but you're right. there must be a way out and even if the door is one way then we'll just make a hole in the wall! nothing is impossible as long as we don't give up, right?

You're really trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. If it turns out this is some cosmic accident, fine. I'm not going to attack someone who genuinely made a mistake, especially if they're willing to work to undo it. But so far all evidence I've seen points to intent. This many people from different worlds, but also clusters of folks who know each other. Pre-prepared items for us to use, specifically coded to us as individuals. That isn't what an accident looks like.

[Keith is really kind of over people playing devil's advocate for the unnamed and unseen person or force or thing that brought them here. But his nature is to fight like hell first and ask questions later so maybe that' snot surprising.]

Exactly. Nothing is hopeless as long as we're all still moving forward. And there's enough of us that if we work together, I think we'll manage whatever we need to.
