Hello, everyone. It's Dextera.

I've recently come into the possession of a potion that allows me to speak with animals. It's limited in both quantity and effective time, but with everyone coming in recently, I've noticed that there are a lot of new animals running around the town. If anyone has very strong feelings about learning the emotions of their animal companions, please let me know. I'm willing to use the last of the potion to ask.

Additionally, it seems that the thoughts of the creatures in the forest are as distorted as their bodies. I could understand them, but I couldn't "understand" them. I did learn that the geese are very angry. For those of us who have been investigating the forest, I thought this would be of interest.

No, I don’t think so. I guess if it can’t make noises, I can’t speak to it, but other than that, I don’t suspect there are any limitations.

I've never heard of them, no. But if they're animals, then I think I might be able to help.

Do you have a Pokemon you'd like me to talk to?

That seems commonplace around here. I'm the odd one out for having them.

I am curious as to how Sivally is doing. I know they are loyal to me but I still worry after all that we've been through, if I've been a sufficient enough trainer for them.

I'm sure you have been, but if you're really worried... I can just give you the potion.

I don't have a voice, and I think if you want to have a conversation with your partner, then it might be more special to do it yourself.

I don’t know much about Pokemon, but it sounds like your friend is important to you. The potion lasts about an hour. Would that be enough time?

Pokemon are creatures in my world that come in many shapes, sizes and types. They exist in the wild but the majority population exist as partners and helpers to humans.

[ dextera would... most definitely like to meet a pokemon, with a description like that! he can't imagine what they look like, or what they might act like. he's genuinely interested in what one would have to say, even if it's a personal conversation. maybe he can ask later. ]
