It appears that as a group we've all generally agreed to utilize this forum as a means of sharing relevant information with each other and pooling collectively our experiences as we grow acclimated to our new circumstances, so in a similar vein — a few questions, if you will.

1) Has anything verifiably edible (and safe for consumption) been found in the wilds surrounding this town?

2) Has anyone yet identified a foodstuff that isn't altogether flavorless?

I see. I'm afraid I don't know much about photography, save that it's as much an art form as any other medium.

I wonder what it would take to work up some form of rudimentary generator, now that you mention it.

Oh, really? I'm curious to know who they might be. I'd like to watch out for them, after all.

Interesting. I would imagine if it were going to kill you, the signs and symptoms would already be showing by now.

Did you find them in a store somewhere, or catch them yourself?

It's no different than using ice to numb anything else, really. The principle is the same — when cold, the ability to sense is dulled temporarily. No different than numbing an ear with ice before piercing it, for example.

I see. In that case, I hope I might manage to find some way to stay in the loop about these efforts — though I'll hardly ask you to elaborate on them in any meaningful way here, for obvious reasons.

I've been tending to spend my time in the district with the canals, and that's where I found this laptop of mine. Perhaps we can meet on one of the bridges there?
