what dave is TRYING to say is that hey, we're back. it looks like guren maybe sort of explained what happened (sorry guren! and okuyasu! and everyone else?) 
i think the boogeyman was defeated right? if we could get details on how it all finished that would be pretty good.
here's a fun fact for you: when you come back from the dead, you get to look all sketchy and weird. i'm not sure we even recognized each other, we were just in our house assuming we were supposed to be there.
we would have been in touch sooner but i don't think we could have been. 
it's been a couple of days though...dave probably has a more specific count.

in more important news two days spent puttering around banging on the piano led to a life changing decision and were starting a band
i would say a boy band but were accepting of all genders

although imma judge you a bit for musical tastes probably but like you can still come and join and hang and jam

other than free time which lbr we all have way too much of
were still arguing about band names or if an informal jam session even requires one
hint john has awful naming sensibilities and mine are amazing

but like he said, we are actually open to people coming over and playing at our place.

i think we're fine! physically now, at least. it is just a little disorienting to not know what happened after the fact or where the last four days went.

I know that feeling, honestly. When I first became a hell escort a long time ago, I had a few bad runs on missions. We don't 'die' permanently, but we can be out of commission for a day or two if we lose our heads or take too much physical damage. It's really jarring.

Um, I don't remember, really. It was a long time ago. A long, long time ago. Most of us don't recall how we got there, just that our boss, Mr. Rokkaku, recruited us.

i think i have a lot of concerns suddenly about being suited for escorting people to hell...do you think you're suited for it?

I mean, I get the work done? It's difficult work, though, and unpredictable. It's hard to tell why a deceased person is hanging onto the living world or why they're lashing out at the living.

isn't the answer usually just that they're unhappy or have someone they want to stay with?

Sometimes. Sometimes they don't realize they're dead. Sometimes they are seeking revenge on a person or the world. Sometimes they're just not ready to go. Sometimes they're greedy and can't leave behind their material possessions.

There are probably hundreds of personal reasons for not wanting to leave your life behind, I imagine. And oftentimes, they don't want to tell us their reason. It makes it hard to convince them when we have to play detectives along the way.

but the bright side is you can at least say you're multi-faceted? that is bound to be impressive to somebody.
