To my fellow refugees:

At long last I have completed a Map of the town and would like to share it with you all. I am far from a cartographer, having only made maps of interiors before this; nonetheless, I hope that it will be of some use.

I must also offer my thanks to Monsieur Bruce and his associates for producing a great many copies of this map. If you would like to have one for yourself, please stop by my home in Ruga - it's the house with red roses blooming in front. Otherwise, I have posted one in the Town Hall building in Ruga for all to view.

Yes, I remember that. I should probably check up on that with him. I think it'd be a good idea in general. Also, tracking the flora but I suppose not everyone would be interested in that.

Not flattery if it's well-deserved, Monsieur. I'm quite of the opinion that hard work should be rewarded and if I had something to reward with I would have already.

I'm interested in that. It's rather hard to keep track of what plants we have that can be eaten and not turn to ash in one's mouth, for one thing.

Yeah, that does pose quite the problem. There's plenty of edible berries and the like in the forest but I find the ease of finding them fluctuates. It reinforces the theory that this town is a little sentient. Not to mention how difficult it is to keep the foods we have grown or recovered consistent.

So, a journal that describes what local fare is good to eat and the general location of them would be good to have. I think I'll get started taking notes as I explore on my own.
