two 🦇 #F6DB2C

[ hi, it's bruce. he has this horrible color and is being nosy again. ]

Two questions.

1) Of the items received and brought back from most recent events, has anyone gained something that can be used for the whole town? Things such as seeds, bandages, medicine, etc. It might be worthwhile to throw together a resource pool if it hasn't been done so already.

2) If you could pick something at all from home that would help you get through the day here, what would it be? A type of food, clothing you prefer, your favorite flower. Things like that. If you're comfortable with sharing, I'd like to hear from you.

Thanks,

Bruce.

I brought with me a few flowers native to my homeworld. I'm planning to use them to create some elixirs, though they'll be limited in reproduction unfortunately.

[ she also has a woodland spirit, but it's... not the most useful companion, unless you want a tiny spirit hiding seeds under rocks. ]

As for your second question, I think the only thing I really miss is having more of my lab equipment readily available.

It does produce them. I would be interested to see if we could honestly. I tried with this particular flower back home, but all attempts to grow it outside the wild were met with failure.

My lab equipment was nothing special compared to "modern science" as you know it. Some glass vials, a stone pot to brew the plants and animals under a fire. I thought to request them with the coin wish, but I decided against it.

True enough. I could never figure out why it grew in some parts of my homeland and not others. A single flower can brewed into elixirs that, when consumed, make the body lighter. Good for stealth capabilities, fitting for its name: Silent Princess.

[ it's... also a personal favorite of hers. it doesn't grow in chroma and so if she could even make a small field of them, it would be a great blessing. ]

Mortar and pestles were also liberally used, though I've been getting by with more crude stand-ins. I've never had to make one myself. Are you saying you know how to create them?

Precisely. Lizards, flowers, even parts of a monster's body could be brewed into the most interesting elixirs. You could spend hours just tossing things into a pot and come out with different sorts of brews.

[ which is what she did when she wanted to pass time with something that was actually enjoyable (i.e. not praying in cold water for hours on end.) ]

I would greatly appreciate that if you're making the offer. I could help you with finding materials to make it a little easier?

Not poisonous, but not exactly good for the stomach. It's a risk you take if you use monster parts to make the elixirs more potent.

[ borderline poisonous is the nice way to put it, it helped to have a willing guinea pig for all her concoctions. ]

Any stone will do. I don't want to be picky when you're doing me a favor, and well we can't be picky with resources here in general.

No it's not.

[ sweats... ]

As long as it's black. I'm sure you understand that black stone will absorb heat faster than a lighter color.
