Everyone,

I know a lot of people are worried about being here rather than home, so I wanted to share something I had learned recently. I was sent back to where I'm from, and as soon as I arrived, it was like I had never left. The man I was traveling with didn't even realize I had been gone, and so far as I could tell, even though six months passed here, it was only a few moments at the most in Columbia. However, it doesn't hold true for the opposite. Obviously, I'm back now, but I did leave here for a few days.

In case you're worried about being here, I hope this helps you rest at least a little more easily. It's definitely possible to go back.

Also, if you're feeling homesick, there's something I might be able to do. It's complicated to explain (though I certainly can if you want the explanation), but I can create portals to other worlds. However, before you ask, we can't use them to leave Chroma, since that's too dangerous. But I do want to get better at controlling where I can open them to so that maybe this could be possible eventually. Showing people how their homes are doing feels like a better way to practice than just opening random ones over and over again. If you'd like that, please let me know. It's something I can at least try.

- Elizabeth

[ hi, it's bruce. he has this horrible color and is being nosy again. ]

Two questions.

1) Of the items received and brought back from most recent events, has anyone gained something that can be used for the whole town? Things such as seeds, bandages, medicine, etc. It might be worthwhile to throw together a resource pool if it hasn't been done so already.

2) If you could pick something at all from home that would help you get through the day here, what would it be? A type of food, clothing you prefer, your favorite flower. Things like that. If you're comfortable with sharing, I'd like to hear from you.

Thanks,

Bruce.

(color!)

To everyone, I have two requests, if anyone is able to help me. To say so at the start, they're not related to the quests this month.

One, I would like to learn how to defend myself. Considering how dangerous things happen here at least somewhat frequently, it seems like it would be a good thing to improve on. Who knows when we might have another supernatural problem, right? I don't really have any preferences for what to learn, except I doubt guns would be useful. All things considered, I think using ammunition to teach someone is a waste of resources.

Two, if you happen to know anything about quantum physics, alternate dimensions, interdimensional travel, or anything like that, I'd like to talk about it. There's something I can do that might be able to help people go home, or at the very least, I might be able to use it to take a few things to help us here. But ideally, I'd like to research it a little more before I start practicing. This one might be a long shot, but I thought I would ask.

Regardless, thank you for taking the time to read this. If you can help with either, I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Elizabeth

[ Days of searching for a cure finally paid off, Zero finds the missing cure, or at least most of it. The small slip of paper he uncovered in an old building in Flavo sits at his desk as he posts the following.  ]

The werewolves. I found a cure for them.

Goldenthorn and screaming stickweed. Where do I find it?

There's a third ingredient, but I don't know what it is.

Update:
The base cure is made up of 3 ingredients. Goldenthorn, Screaming Stickweed and the last is unknown.

Goldenthorn: Mix Spitfire Stickweed and Screaming Fieldcress. Information provide by #FFDF00. No one seems to have it.

Screaming Stickweed: #B9536C combined two plants to make Screaming Stickweed. 3rd unknown ingredient: No progress.

Base Cure: #49809C has some instructions on how to mix the ingredients together (Tangled Snowdrop to a base cure)

[ ooc; feel free to start your own conversations, zero will be updating this post as more information arrives ]

hey. my name is percy jackson. nice to meet you guys
so it's been almost a week since a lot of us got here and things still aren't making a lot of sense
yeah, I get how the quests work and I know what laptops are and I know we can't get out of here but there are other things that aren't making sense
I went to do some scouting to see if I could find anything about the water
it's weird, isn't it? the ocean's not supposed to be still and that usually means something's wrong so I went to check it out
couple of things:

-always take a buddy if you're going in the water
-almost all of the fish are mutated and they're not really helpful. most of them ignored me when I asked some questions
-the ocean floor's about thirty feet down, but there's a drop-off further from that if you keep swimming out there
-SOMETHING is there down past the drop-off. everything was dark even with a light source but something lives down there. I didn't get a good enough look but I got some of their fingerprints
-webbed and still finger-shaped if you're curious
-didn't get a head count either
-limbs went kind of numb
-pretty sure they're still down there

just thought it would help to know what we're working with since we know there are things like shadows in the woods and other stuff out there

hey guess who
honestly i expect you all to have memorized the best shade of red by now
or just my un
ey double oh seven oh seven
or idk does anyone else do stupid mneumonics to remember other peoples uns

not my point

anyway my point was
usually our get togethers have been like
yo lets share some information
or hey lets do x useful thing
which while for sure practical
sort of eventually gets to the point of feeling like youre working 24/7 with no holidays
you know aside from all that free time we have
wherein we cant watch tv or listen to music or read or do anything but stare at ashy gray walls
wishing for death
or at least a spider to crawl across the walls

i lost my point again
right

who would be down for a game day or smth
like maybe middle of the month so theres time to plan things
okuyasu and i were talking about at least capture the flag or whatever
split into teams go to town
capture the flag for those of you who dont know is just multiple teams have a base and flag and the goal is to steal the other teams flag and take it back to your zone
v exciting
and like if anyone has any games from home theyd like to add to the roster
we can do that?
possibly food can be arranged
it can be like a company picnic
only we wont do trust falls bc lbr some of us are easily distracted
and we dont want to cartoonishly build mistrust maybe
or maybe we do idk

so i guess this is an interest check
and also seeing what all people would want to do on a new national holiday
since we dont know when any of the official ones from home are rn
we can call it
not being bored day
i wish my iphone still had a charge day
i miss the public library existing day
or like company picnic day
idk we can discuss that
point is whos in

[ contrary to his fairly casual way of speaking, Lupin types on the forums exactly the way you'd expect a gentleman from the 1800s to write a letter. ]

My dear fellow abductees,

The recent events involving Shadows and Shadow-Monsters led to the unfortunate loss of my hat; with their activity subsided, I assumed that my stolen goods would be returned to me. However, it appears they had one last prank to play on me: I am reunited with a hat, but not my own. It is a navy blue pork pie hat with a red and white ribbon, adorned with a cute pink flower. I've attached a rather poor image of it - my description may be of more use.

[ attached is an artistic depiction of a hat. He did his best with the laptop touchpad and the paint program... ]

If you are the owner of this hat, it shall be returned to you. And if you have my hat - a fine silk top hat with a red tie - this is a notice of my intention to take it back, if you will not hand it over yourself.

Cordialement,
Lupin
