Good morning. If I may, I'd like to make a request for some minor assistance, from anyone in the town who might possess the requisite expertise to assist me in a small endeavor of mine.

Recently, I came into possession of a cat; I expect some residents of Chroma may have seen it wandering around, as I believe it was a stray prior to my adopting it, and as such it is already accustomed to something of an independent lifestyle as opposed to that of a more domesticated housecat. She's rather distinctive — cream-white fur, with black ears, face, paws, and tail. Her name is Pearl, though I'm not certain if she's had that name long enough as yet to recognize it as her own. If you should happen to see her around, please be kind to her; if you happen to see her getting up to something she shouldn't, please either let me know or simply apprehend her and bring her back home.

In the interest of responsible pet ownership, I'd like to have her fitted with some sort of collar and tag to help identify her when she decides to take herself for a constitutional. Ideally, I'd also like it to include a bell or rattle of some variety, though that's largely a whim for my own benefit, as it would make it easier to identify when she's getting up to mischief around the house.

Assistance in this endeavor would be much appreciated, and I'll naturally recompense your time and industry accordingly — with the offer to prepare a favorite meal of yours, perhaps.

The bogeyman that was hiding in town has finally been defeated, but it was at the cost of three lives. Dave, John and Dextera. I couldn't save them. I'm sorry.

Okuyasu and Asuka are badly injured, but are currently being treated for it. [He is too? He's bleeding all over his laptop, but it's fine.]

Dextera's body changed into something else, but the other two are still remaining. I think they both have family here, or something close. You can contact me and I'll tell you where they are, so you can arrange a burial or whatever you think is best.

I take full responsibility for this. There's still going to be a defense force meeting at the beginning of next month, so we can talk about it then. I know there could still be people missing from the werewolf thing, too, so keep your eyes open for them, alive or otherwise. If you have questions, I'll try to answer them.

Hey Chroma. It's Dirk again in case you don't recognize the hex code.
So I'm sure everyone must have noticed the furry little problem we got last night.
I think it's safe to say it has something to do with that protect the town quest that went up and that we can expect them to be back again since the quests that require everyone last longer.
For that reason I've rigged up the rapbot I recently reacquired to play as our very own town-wide alarm system in case my suspicion is right.

So if you hear an alarm going off then either be ready to fight or run and hide.
It's probably best if the people who can't fight gather in one spot for easier defending. Maybe the church?
Anyway, if you see the wolves but don't hear the alarm and you're near a laptop, just text me "SW ALARM" and that will set it off. Or just start literally crying wolf, that works too.

It's going to sound somewhat like an old-fashioned air raid siren, by the way.
If I had any thematically appropriate music, I would play that so everyone has a fitting soundtrack to kick werewolf ass to, but sadly we'll have to make do with something standard and boring because that's all I got.

But yeah, stay alert. I get the feeling this isn't over.

Listen i just want to know if were dealing with one everfriggen lazy entity from heaven or hell or beyond who just wont do his dirty laundry or just some pesky mortal hooligan who is having a ripsnorter of a time putting us on these kinds of tasks. I think im more agreeable with the first statement as weve seen proof of things happening in result.. like today for example! Who the devilshit even knows mayhaps its multiple persons working side by side but i cannot help but run curious and would like to further my investigation but i dont know where in tarnation to start. Likewise i feel as if i could excel with these quests if anyone is up to par with combining forces with me.

Also i found a pretty coin and my gut instincts said i should toss it in the well and make a wish. Did anyone else get one? I feel like its fucking christmas but i cant help but be apprehensive about making a wish but i suppose thats just my overcautious ways ill probably definitely do it hehe. I have a movie collection to wish for.

If you could list anyone who won't see this post either, I would appreciate that as well.

The defense force will keep a list of everyone within the town and have it updated when people arrive and disappear. It'll be good for tracking patterns on how people are brought to the town and what colors are being emphasized in particular. If we're separated again we'll know just how many people should be present and no one is lost in the shuffle.

Another thing, I'll be working on a map of the town to keep in a public space (such as, near the well) for easy accessibility. I think it would be in our benefit to add a list of residencies along with it -- name and hex code included. It would be for those who need to meet each other but have only interacted on the forums, for instance. Being able to reference a map and find someone's home from there will be helpful.

This would be an opt-in practice, you would only need to publicly list yourself if you wanted to.

Any other thoughts and comments on these two ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

This is Dirk Strider, one of the town's newer acquisitions and before anyone else asks: yes, we're related.
So all that quest bullshit reminded me of something I could use some help with and with all the various skill sets found around here culminating in a veritable fountain of knowledge, maybe one of you can.
Does anyone know how to fix a broken sword? Specifically a katana.
It was supposed to be unbreakable, but it turns out that a probably fake Japanese sword doesn't hold a candle to a real Welsh sword. Go figure.
There's not a whole lot of the blade left so I don't know if it's salvageable at all or what would be needed exactly to fix it.

Or alternatively does anyone have a sword they can spare?
I would offer to make you a robot in return for either of those options, but unfortunately resources are way too limited for that. It would require taking apart several laptops and since those are scarce and person-bound, that's unlikely to happen.
Besides, without an uranium core it would be a shitty rudimentary robot and that's too subpar. Ain't gonna saddle anyone up with useless junk like that.

Instead I can offer to make you some tailored clothes? Like I can only work with fabric that's already around here meaning I can't do much about color unless someone has secretly been hoarding dye somewhere and is willing to share.
But I can at least make it so you don't look like a peasant extra who strayed too far from the Braveheart set.
Or if you need help with a quest from a red, I can do that too. But then I'm down to quest any time so that doesn't feel like fair compensation.
I don't know. Name your price, I guess?

Good day, all.

I was alerted to the fact that many people here would like more options for soap. Now, I realize some of us who assisted with the geese may have been gifted toiletries, but I'm sure you'd prefer to keep that for your personal hygiene as opposed to using it to wash clothes or what have you.

As such, I spent a little time the other day mixing up some soap. Now, it's currently curing and I won't say that it smells like much of anything, but for basic use it should work well enough. It's unfortunately not vegan, but I'll get to work on alternative solutions as soon as I can.

It should be ready in about a week's time. Would anyone like some?

PS I know the basic mechanics of a spinning wheel and of a couple of simple looms if anyone is interested in possible textile needs. I think I saw some plants that could probably be spun into thread as well. Let me know if that sounds like something you think could be useful.

hey. my name is percy jackson. nice to meet you guys so it's been almost a week since a lot of us got here and things still aren't making a lot of sense yeah, I get how the quests work and I know what laptops are and I know we can't get out of here but there are other things that aren't making sense I went to do some scouting to see if I could find anything about the water it's weird, isn't it? the ocean's not supposed to be still and that usually means something's wrong so I went to check it out couple of things: -always take a buddy if you're going in the water -almost all of the fish are mutated and they're not really helpful. most of them ignored me when I asked some questions -the ocean floor's about thirty feet down, but there's a drop-off further from that if you keep swimming out there -SOMETHING is there down past the drop-off. everything was dark even with a light source but something lives down there. I didn't get a good enough look but I got some of their fingerprints -webbed and still finger-shaped if you're curious -didn't get a head count either -limbs went kind of numb -pretty sure they're still down there just thought it would help to know what we're working with since we know there are things like shadows in the woods and other stuff out there
