To everyone, I have two requests, if anyone is able to help me. To say so at the start, they're not related to the quests this month.
One, I would like to learn how to defend myself. Considering how dangerous things happen here at least somewhat frequently, it seems like it would be a good thing to improve on. Who knows when we might have another supernatural problem, right? I don't really have any preferences for what to learn, except I doubt guns would be useful. All things considered, I think using ammunition to teach someone is a waste of resources.
Two, if you happen to know anything about quantum physics, alternate dimensions, interdimensional travel, or anything like that, I'd like to talk about it. There's something I can do that might be able to help people go home, or at the very least, I might be able to use it to take a few things to help us here. But ideally, I'd like to research it a little more before I start practicing. This one might be a long shot, but I thought I would ask.
Regardless, thank you for taking the time to read this. If you can help with either, I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth

It's easiest to think of what I can do as a window. I can reach through the windows and take things, but they're not stable enough to really pass through. It doesn't turn out well.
no subject
It does some shitty things to the people who go through, too, apparently.

There is a program in place for people to learn to fight from each other. I believe if you wish to sign up you can contact Lieutenant General Guren.
Though if you wish I can I also be of service. I know how to use a number of weapons though I am most proficient with a sword and a bow.

But I do appreciate the offer, since I'm certainly interested. Since I don't really know much about how either is used practically speaking, which do you think is more handy?

i'm not an expert on this subject but i do know a little! i have a friend who was a teleporter and if she teleports someone or something without an target coordinate in mind they end up in a place called imaginary space! i've never been there but kyousuke ended up there and then he came back by leaving a copy of his personality behind!
no subject
What do you know about the imaginary space? Or how someone left a copy of their personality behind?

i could teach you guns without wasting ammo, promise! it's a lot easier to pick up for laypeople than swords and stuff imo.

I'm not an expert, but I've used a lot of different weapons. I can probably teach you a few things for defending yourself, Elizabeth-san.

[ Largely because it never came up, so she's actually teasing on her end, though she's yet to learn the valuable lesson of how tone is hard to convey in text. ]
I would definitely appreciate any help. After the werewolves, I realized that it's something I probably shouldn't put off.

Ciao, Elizabeth! This is Caramia.
A lot of people seem to have beat me to the punch, so to speak, but I can teach you a few things as well, if the other's don't suit your face. On top of that, if you do learn how to use a gun from someone else, I would gladly loan you one of my pistols if you ever intend on leaving the town-- assuming you'll return it, of course.
If this is something you're able to do, then maybe ammunition wouldn't be a problem? [ There's a "Booker, catch" joke somewhere in here, I just know it. ] Still, that sounds astounding, signorina. I'm not so sure about all that myself, but maybe you could ask Dave about it? He says he deals with more time related things, but I know the whole space-time thing tend to go hand in hand.

If I get somewhat decent at shooting, I'll remember that. That, and hopefully controlling where my Tears open up a little better. I've definitely been able to grab ammunition for the person I was traveling with, but that was also in Columbia. There was kind of ammunition everywhere.
I didn't know Dave could do that, though. I'll have to ask him next time I talk to him. I just thought he could fly.
And of course, thank you, Caramia!

dunno about most of that stuff but i can make stuff go away to another dimension uhhh forever
[This is the literal opposite of tears. He's helping?]

Well, that's something. How?

Father or I could teach you.
[Could because--he's not sure if Elizabeth wants to deal with the Waynes anymore after the Tear Incident™.]
no subject
[ Because, I mean, she's seen Booker shoot way more people than he's punched people... ]
I don't mind that, though. It's probably better, in a way, since I don't want to take weapons from other people that they might need. If you don't mind teaching, I'll do my best.

Except here it's not working and I'm stuck just going from one part of this world to another.

I can do something similar. I haven't used them to stay in another world, since I was a little afraid of what that might mean, but I definitely could have.
Though it doesn't work at all for you here? Mine works at least partially, but I do think something is wrong with them. That, or I'm out of practice.

My name is Eliot. I do not know anything about those topics at the moment, but I am a Living Library. I would be very happy to access my memorized books and recite one for you.
Would that interest you at all?

Unfortunately, I'm really only okay with guns, so I don't think I could help much. But it looks like you've got plenty of takers!no subject

does it count if i only know fake things about quantum physics
but like alt dimensions and interdimensional travel ive done
id say maybe not the usual way but like
what is the "usual" way for that
my way was just going on a meteor and like
flying to the other universe???
which worked
i mostly work in timelines though and not alternate dimensions
im good with swords if you want defense help btw thats the other thing but the first thing was like more helpful
oh but like
heads up
idk if its the same thing at all
but when i tried to time travel in town i got mad death visions
so maybe try your thing outside of the town
(idk if that will make it better but the town is apparently a fussy old grandparent or smth)
no subject
Though I have to ask-- If you can travel strange places too, what kinds of things have you seen? Where do you like to go?
The same thing happened to me, actually. It was only once someone went through the Tear I created, but the visions we all got were horrible. I'm sorry that you had to see anything like that too. I wouldn't wish that for anyone.
