After having been here for two months, I've come to realize that some things are not quite the same for me as they are back home.

Namely that my interactions with humans in my world are typically limited by the fact that I'm completely invisible to most. However, I have heard that not everyone here is human or might be unique. As of yet I haven't figured out why some are capable when they possess no resonance but I'm interested in finding out. Since I'm the first seraph to come from my world, it's a mystery I hope to solve.

Which leads me to a request, I'm curious in knowing just how many have the capability of seeing me. Attempting to do the quests with an invisible, silent partner can a hardship so I'd like to find out just how many people can see me or at least hear me.

I can be found at the green house in the Flavo District all evening, either you will see me or you will see a floating book. Perhaps something in between.

To some extent, yes.

While I'm sure I'm not the only one here, I can say I'm the only one from my world in Chroma. I'll be here.

(He's definitely not the only spirit around! But Mutsu will let him figure that out on his own.

Mutsu visits Tonbokiri enough to know exactly where the green house is in Flavo so he finds it easily and quickly enough. He also sees Mikleo as clear as day which really isn't a surprise but--)

I was really hoping to see a floating book!

(He'll give a sort of two fingered salute at Mikleo, just to let him know he sees him.)

[ Someday he'll learn all about the other beings who live in Chroma but Mikleo isn't rude enough to go around asking people.

He looks pretty comfortable on the step, halfway through some book he got from the library. Then someone approaches and his head comes up to eye Mutsu. ]

I'm sure someone could arrange for you to see a floating book one day.

[ The book is set down and he nods in response. ]

Personally being seen is something of a relief. Things are unusual enough here and being invisible is difficult at times.

It's no fun if ya have to arrange it.

(Arrange doesnt even sound like a fun word. He rests one hand on his hip casually,)

So how's it work? What kind of "spirit" are ya supposed to be?

There are various uses and I also mastered a spectral cloak that allows me to make others invisible.

[ Which came in handy when they need to sneak past guards. ]

Being invisible is just... natural. Humans require having a type of resonance before they can see seraphim. I'm an elemental seraph, water.

Yes, we do. Though there are a few who haven't been able to see me at all.

Then that's just a trick.

( Not that he minds. He can appreciate a good trick. He's also generally impressed by everything Mikleo is saying. If only one of the uses is making others invisible then what else can he do? As someone who has a history of running and hiding from others and actively took part in missions that required being out of sight and mind, he's intrigued! )

Like a human with a special sense or power, right? ( He gets it! ) It's the same back home.

( Even if he uses a different word, it's easy to equate it with the same concept of spirits and water sounds a lot more powerful than a simple sword. Which is something he should explain himself, isn't it? After all, Mikleo wants information and Mutsu is willing to share! )

I'm nothing fancy like you but I don't think we're too different. ( Holding out his hand! This is what people do, right? Shake? ) Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki. ( And if they aren't going with generic words like spirits-- ) A tsukumogami-- a kami of a tool! In my case, a sword.

( Makes sense considering he is a swordsman and all that. )

How have you been getting along if most people can't see you?

[Outside of Chroma this question would have had a healthy dose of skepticism, but Nyx has seen, or not seen, far worse, and he knows Sorey well enough to recognize the house description anyway. He stopped by just a few weeks ago to return the swords he'd offered to clean for Sorey.

He wonders if he'd missed seeing a roommate, or if Mikleo had just happened to be out at the time.]

I feel like 'hardship' would be the understatement of the century.

i know its not the same as demons but where im from only people who have demonic blood or wounds from a demon can see them
maybe that's why i can see you so well?

This is Riku, but if you ever need help doing or completing a quest, just ask. You already know I can see you so that's a plus.

I appreciate it, Riku. I wouldn't want to scare anyone by simply tagging along if they can't see me.

I have friends who help me out in some cases. One of my best friends from home is often with me. While I may be invisible to humans, I'm capable of touching or moving anything they are. Plus I can always use the network to communicate with people.

[ So he's only invisible, not intangible. He can still interact with anything other people can - it's just the conversation that might be lacking if he's face-to-face with them.

It's actually a great deal better than here. I've found that more people can see me than not.

That's right. Though seraphim aren't the only ones humans can't quite see in my world.

It's a bit odd to hear that there are other worlds where humans can't see other species, though not terribly surprising.

[ Otherwise it's magic. But he isn't interested in tricking people at the moment. Mikleo could demonstrate being invisible right now if asked even if it's only for a short period of time. Though his other abilities are more for fighting than stealth. ]

He listens intently as Mutsu describes himself and does reach out to shake the offered hand (though really it isn't necessary). When the other gets to the part where he describes himself, Mikleo looks at him curiously. ] Mikleo. [ Even though his name was listed on the network post. ]

You're a sword who has a human form? Or a spirit who has abilities with a sword? [ Look, either could be true and Mikleo would (probably) believe it. ]

Yeah, especially if anyone happens to be afraid of ghosts. You wouldn't be able to get any quests done.

Being considered a ghost isn't that bad so long they don't try and attack me. Which I have had happen once. She ended up punching me.

i got into fights all the time when i was younger and no one ever wanted to be around me
ive changed a lot so iunno
