Hi there.
I'll keep this short and sweet, cause I'm sure you guys hate to read as much as I do, I have a quick question for everyone: What's your blood type?
This isn't for some compatibility thing.
I mean I guess.
I'm just curious.

Crowley's seated at a table, legs resting crossed on top as he leans back in his chair. The appearance of Guren earns a grin, tilting his head to one side. ]
That was fast, did you run all the way here?
no subject
Guren walks over to the desk, frowning just at the sight of him. What a cocky pose.]
Shut up already. [He places a hand on the desk, once he's close enough, leaning in.]
Stop screwing around. There's no other reason you'd make a post like that, so what gives? We're supposed to be working together.
no subject
You can't put your trust in me even for a second? Look. [ He directs Guren's attention to a closed book, extending an arm to grab it from the table and opening it to a certain page. Around the many typed passages is his handwriting -- there's a list of names and blood types, and Guren's and his own are included. ]
If I wanted to go against our deal I wouldn't make it public... but you can't expect me to say no to anyone who offers.
no subject
Yes, I can. Say no, and stop encouraging them to volunteer in the first place.
[He's going to reach to try and snatch that closed book. Let him see!! What is this nonsense.]
I thought you weren't supposed to feel anything, so why are you always looking to start trouble?
no subject
Can you name the last time I started trouble? And you can't mention the whole thing with Dex because that was honestly your fault~
no subject
[He's moody, as always. And he's flipping through this book. Are these blood types the only thing worth noting in here??]
Is that what this is? [Do u want a nibble, crowley]
no subject
I'm not hungry. [ He shakes his head. ] But, like I've told several others, it'd be rude of me if I rejected such a kind offer. I'm the one depending on you all, right? Then I should take all of this with open arms.
no subject
I'm telling you, you can and will reject the offers from anyone but me. [Bossy! As always.]
What do I have to do to get that through your thick skull?
[It's padded with tough words, but he's sure Crowley knows what he's really doing here. It's basically pleading. If he has to adjust their deal, then so be it!!]
no subject
Aren't you tired? [ Tilting his head to one side and quirking a brow, Crowley releases a small, irritated sigh before he pulls his legs off of the table and stands up. Staring down at Guren. ] You're gonna end up falling apart if you keep this up, you realize that? Sooner or later you're not going to be able to keep everything in place... and when that happens, you know exactly what I'll do.
no subject
Nothing is falling apart. I'm perfectly in control of everything. You can hope you'll get to watch me crash all you want, but it's not going to happen.

The look on his face, the confidence in his voice, the undying resolve he has about him that shows in every fiber of his being -- it's a reflection of something Crowley thought he had buried a long time ago. Hollowed out, there's no reason for him to feel the way he does, but the similarities forces the vampire to remember.
And he hates the memories that Guren drags out of him; each time with that righteousness of his. ]
Really?
[ ugh you really had to go and say it like that
Crowley brings up a hand, quick and aggressive, fingers grasp Guren by his neck and effortlessly lifting him off his feet before shoving him against a nearby shelf. ]
So even right now, are you in control?
no subject
But despite all that, he's smirking. That confidence isn't gone, even if there's no doubt that his heart rate increased tenfold, at the very least. He's powerless. He's well aware of that. But he refuses to be proven wrong. He refuses to think things won't end up how he want them to, by his own hand.]
Yeah. Even if you kill me, I'll come back. [A lot of confidence for a theory he's not sure is true! He doesn't want to test it. But. You know. He breathes out a strained laugh.]
It almost seems like you're feeling something.
no subject
He sees the reflection of himself in the human's eyes, slowly unraveling as the beast hidden behind layers of feigned smiles digs into the void chamber of his chest. Pulling at his heart, as he vividly remembers himself when he was Guren's position. Pushed into a corner but already given up after having lost so much.
He could do the same thing.
He could tear everything in this damn town apart and still -- ]
Ha, are you kidding me?
[ That would just mean he does feel something. Something close to rage, envy, and he doesn't want to act out on that emotion if there is a possibility that he's truly feeling anything at all. ]
I just know what to say to get the best response from foolish people like you. It's cute, really, how easy it is to get you all flustered. [ But his grip tightens, pressing against the human's throat. ] Say, just how much of this place do you think I can destroy by the time you get back? Should we make it into a game?
no subject
[He's playing with him. Toying around. Even knowing that, though, Guren can't stop his internal reaction. His stomach dropping, his heart pounding even harder. Rage is boiling inside of him and he wants to take it out on this vampire, on someone he can call a "bad guy" and be done with it. But he knows better. He knows that wouldn't solve anything.
He knows he doesn't stand a chance, too. His air is pretty restricted like this, and he's trying to focus on breathing. Fingers curl uselessly tighter into Crowley's wrist, but he gives up on his legs and lets them dangle.]
You wouldn't dare. [He should shut up, and he's very aware of this. The more he says, the more it's like an invitation, encouragement. But he can't help it. He's bold, here in this small town. One noble vampire... Maybe they stand a chance.]
It doesn't matter how strong you are, bloodsucker. I'll still find a way to tear you apart.
no subject
Is that a promise? [ He doesn't care very much for threats, considering he can tear those down without a blink of an eye -- has been for centuries, and tires of the idea of having to do it again. ] Then I guess I won't kill you... today, at least.
[ He finally releases his hold on Guren, dropping him to the floor like a rag doll. ]
I'm actually really looking forward to it, so don't keep me waiting for too long, alright~? I'm only willing to be this kind once every couple of decades, y'know?
no subject
Yeah, yeah.
[He'll make it good, just for you, Crowley. Shifting, he pushes himself to his feet.]
Just give me some time. [At least Guren has humor about it.] And stick to just me.
no subject
Haha. [ It's a hollow laugh. ] About that... I drank from someone already, but I'm definitely not making them my top pick so you can still hold your title as the number one livestock!
no subject
But first, that comment is enough to make Guren's blood run cold. The glare that he shoots through Crowley expresses that plenty, and killing intent spikes to ridiculous levels, but he still only grips at his sword, still.]
You're lying.
no subject
Do I look like Ferid?
no subject
Guren draws his sword, and that power increases that much more. It's hard to hold back this desire for power when he wants to kill so badly.]
Who was it?
no subject
What are you gonna do? Give 'em a slap on the wrist and put them in time out? I don't think anyone appointed you as the town dad, but if they did it's about time everyone comes together and reconsiders that motion.
no subject
Ahhh!! [So, of course he's going to yell and swing with full force at Crowley. He is going to destroy this library, please stop him.]
no subject
Also, brave of you to assume that he'll actually do anything to stop Guren from destroying the library. ] Ah? [ His provoking is completely intentional, but he honestly found it more believable of Guren to drag him outside for a fight.
Ah, well, it doesn't really matter to him any.
Crowley leaps onto the table, taking wide strides back in order to avoid his attack and drop down to the other side. ] Hey, what are you so mad about? [ Placing a hand on the table, he promptly pushes it towards the human with relative ease -- which means that it's going in the same force as a truck. Fucking rip Guren if he gets hit by that. ]
It's really not my fault if people offer themselves up to me~
no subject
He's able to jump over that table as it's slid his way, but just barely, and he's full on jumping at Crowley to swing again. He's really angry! Crowley can probably tell from his strikes, even if Guren is still just a widdle human.]
It's... entirely your fault, you bastard! Don't accept it!
no subject
His lips curl into a sly grin, eyes red yet burnishing gold in excitement as their reflection are caught in the glint of Guren's blade. And soon his, as he unsheathes his sword and holds it horizontally to parry his attack. ]
You should have known that this would happen sooner or later, why are you acting so surprised?
