I broke my mirror by accident and I feel fucking bad about it. I mean, I know it was basically just showing a side of me that I really dislike, but I usually try to embrace vulnerability as a concept, yeah? Like, there's something beautiful about our common weaknesses, we're only as strong as we can carry our flaws and all that shit...

Anyway, give me a "hey!" if you're hearing this shit and you're with me. Give me... whatever else, if you're not. I'm open.



Also, that cuddle thing... quest... whatever the fuck you call it around here... I'm signing up to be cuddled. It's fucking freezing. I'm fucking freezing. However, if you're a guy, you might as well walk the other way right about now or I'm gonna kick your nuts in.



Most importantly, however. Who do I have to sweet-talk around here to acquire a new packet of cigarettes? The one I brought with me is almost empty.

I like your style! Of course there are sides of ourselves that we don't want to show to everyone. It was strange the way those mirrors reflected it. Everything was exaggerated and out of scale.

As for cigarettes, if you're lucky one of the quests may give you another pack. The color draining quest gives nothing, so I would recommend against it.

It seems I dodged the worst of it. I was colorless for most of when the mirror was talking. It was hard to care about anything like that.

They can be. Last month I was given apple cider and some chocolates. It's never clear what completing a quest will give. Once we collected honey and the reward was just a jar of live bees.

About the cooties... Honestly, I could talk forever about this shit, so here goes the relatively short version? It's because, where I'm from, men and women are brought up to kinda think of each other as completely separate species, a female and a male race that can't understand each other or interact in a meaningful way that doesn't include sex.

For the little boys and girls this is expressed in the most physical manner they can conceive, so they think of the opposite gender as having cooties that are foreign as well as low-key dangerous to their own gender. You won't fucking believe how many little boys I've seen run from the girls, screaming: Don't get girl cooties, don't get girl cooties.

It's a game, but it ties back to some actual issues between men and women.
