USER #FFFF99
Greetings, one and all. My name is Maribelle, and I trust by now we're all aware of the situation we're in. I believe we should be ready for whatever comes our way, and seeing as we have so many unanswered questions, that could be almost anything. The one thing we can be sure of is that we need to work together. In that same line, I wish to keep a track of everyone's abilities, both mundane and powerful, so we can make the most of our reluctant visit.
For example, we're in great need of seamstresses, blacksmiths, and farmers. But we could also use more people with healing magic, such as myself, and all those with combat skills will be called upon should we ever go into battle. My skills with this sort of metal contraption are lacking, so until I can figure out a way to make this list stay on screen for all to see, you are free to visit my shared home if you wish to see this for yourself once all the data has been compiled.
Now then, I'll start us off.
Maribelle : Healing Staff, Elemental Tomes, Horse.
Lastly, I wish to apologize to those I met recently and informed me that there are different kinds of magic that can be used without tomes. I may have reacted a tad childishly to this information.
[BUT SHE'S STILL NOT ACCEPTING A CERTAIN BOY IS A GOD, HELL NO.]

Alas, our words alone might not be enough to convince anyone of your potential. Actual meals would make for far more substantial evidence, but considering the state of food available, that might not be an option, either.
It is a shame, but I'm afraid your talents are currently useless under the circumstances.
[ Because, you know, Akira is totally just an ordinary boy. Nothing suspicious to be seen here. ]

Guess I can still be a listener, though.
[The other part of being a good barista/bartender.]

[ Haha... aha... how... funny....... ]

Kind of worked on Akechi too. Just not fast enough.]
Guess I should stay out of fights, then.
no subject
Perhaps. There is only so much a teenager could do, after all.
But for what it's worth, I still think you can provide good support with your coffee.

Find me some beans that still have flavor and I'll make some.

[ Is it the caffeine only... or is it the company... ]
no subject
[Sorry Maribelle, they've turned your super serious post on battle capabilities into discussing caffeine withdrawal.]

I imagine it must be even harder for you. You pretty much used to smell like coffee all the time.
no subject
Didn't know I smelled that bad.
[
Kind of hard to go to the bathhouse and do laundry every night when the game allows you only one action.]no subject
[ Is it weird to be talking about another guy's smell so casually... Is this socially acceptable... ]
no subject
[He's just asking!]
no subject
[ ummmmmm... ]
no subject
I see.
[Akechi thinks he smells good...]
no subject
[ Does this make it better or... not... ]
no subject
[This is definitely getting worse.]

What? Where did *that* come from?

#EA0000: Didn't know I smelled that bad.
#900014: It is just coffee, you do realize. Not a bad smell, by any means.
#EA0000: So you think I smell good?
#900014: Well. I do like the smell of coffee, particularly in a cold evening.
#EA0000: I see.
#900014: You shouldn't be so surprised. It *is* the reason why I came to Leblanc so often, you do realize?
no subject
And *that's* what you inferred from our conversation? What I meant was that I used to go to Leblanc for the coffee. The actual drink, not just the smell of it.
And just to be perfectly clear, I did not go there for your particular smell, either.
[ ... you know, Akechi might have no people skills, but even he can tell this conversation is... awkward... on so many levels... ]
no subject
You told me something different, before. That you just wanted to talk to me.
[All he has to do is walk away.]
no subject
Should I assume you have never had coffee and talked with someone without smelling them?
no subject
[Not really, but this is probably the most flustered he's ever going to get Akechi without feeding him something spicy, and he wants to keep it going.]
no subject
... wait, actually, maybe he can use this for payback. ]
So you have your friend telling you about the way people you interact with smell? Oh, my. I'm starting to believe you have some very peculiar... preferences, Kurusu-kun.
[ Some people might even call it a fetish, really. But not him, not this pleasant boy here. ]
