It’s not the first time the Town has been aware of things about me, but it’s unsettling. I don’t like how much it knows my feelings.

what was the first time? if you don't mind sharing that
unsettling's a pretty good word for it. the tasks are designed knowing exactly what I don't and can't do and now I have to wonder just how much the town or #ffffff or whoever learned about us before we got here

It’s happened a few times. The Town knows more things about me than I know about myself. I can’t explain more than that.

I have no memories of my past, but this Town knows who I “am” anyway.

[Ah. Well that's unfortunate. He's been in a situation where he was wandering around without his memories for several months and remembers how frustrating that was, especially when there were people who knew him and knew about him. It's kind of a bummer to think that's happening to someone else.]

because that doesn't make the town creepier at all
it's weird how much the town knows, especially about things I haven't said at all

why us? why did #ffffff or whoever pick us specifically?

I can't think of any other reason
usually when I've been kidnapped somewhere it's because it's to make other people act, but I don't know if that's the case here
that would be implying #ffffff has someone's attention he's trying to get

I don't want to believe it, but I'm also not ruling it out until that's proven false
none of us know how we got here or what we're really doing here, do we?

What that means is still a mystery, though.

if it was really for a greater good, wouldn't somebody tell us why we're doing all of this by now? or what it means

No.

The greater good doesn’t have to be good for us. If we knew we were hurting ourselves, we might not follow through.

someone else brought this up. about how so many people are just blindly doing as this guy asks
so what I want to know is what other people think about it. why that is and stuff
I don't know if we're hurting ourselves, but I don't like all of this secrecy either. it's suspicious

but then shouldn't we be spending more time trying to get answers about those secrets instead of just going along with it?

[ dextera has a lot to say about that, actually, but most of it is something he needs to keep to himself—not for safety, but for shame. ]

It’s not always that easy. Maybe it’s because it’s not easy that we’re just doing what we’re told instead.
