[It doesn't take long for said jarring sounds to fill the streets. Akira's bike is a sleek black, and no doubt incredibly expensive -- not that he'd know, considering it was gifted to him by Ryo, but Ryo's everything is always insanely expensive.
Once he spots someone waiting outside one of the houses, he slows to a stop, giving the stranger a once-over.]
[Well, half outside. He was actually sticking his head back in the door to call something out to his roommate. He stands out despite that, though, given he's got a longass braid hanging off to the side.
He closes the door after Akira speaks and turns with a huge grin and a wave.]
That's me! Sorry, I was letting my roommate know where I was going.
[For a second he wonders if he's gotten the wrong person, but when he replies, Akira gives a small smile and a nod in return for the wave.]
Duo in Bluo. Anyone ever tell you that has a ring to it? [Had he been waiting to make that joke the whole journey... anyway, he dismounts the bike, offering it to Duo.] I'll let you have it for an hour. Just don't go too fast, not everyone around here has seen one of these things, and the streets aren't built for it.
[Both of those things are common sense, but he doesn't want him to get carried away with how excited he looks.]
I don't have a helmet either, so you're on your own with that one. Does everything look the same to you?
[Hopefully his bike isn't so different from whatever motorbikes exist in Duo's world, anyway. Or at least, it's close enough that he can figure the rest out on his own.]
[Duo is practically beaming and bouncing around from foot to foot like an overly excited child.
Which, to be fair, he technically still is.
He gets on the bike and starts it up, looking like he could probably die happy right then and there. But he's not going to because damn it, he is taking this thing for a ride and enjoying it.]
