Hi, everyone! This is Izuku Midoriya, in case you don't know my hex code yet.

1. Since it looks like we're stuck here for a while longer, I was thinking it would be a good idea to try collecting more information on this place, specifically the forest. As of right now, it's probably our best bet for finding a way out of here, and it's a source of food, too. [No matter how bad it all tastes.] Yaoyorozu-san and I have been trying to put together a working map, but we just don't have enough information to work with right now.

What do you think of us all working together to map the forest out? If we're successful, we'll be able to mark out the safer paths to take, as well as where we can find anything edible. The more people we have for this, the faster we'll be able to get the information we need!

2. If you've already gone into the forest and encountered something like the shadow monsters or some kind of magical trap, let me know! I can put together a database of sorts on this forum so we all know what kind of danger to look out for when we head in. I'll keep it updated if we run into anything else during this group trip, too.

3. Not related to the information gathering, but has anyone managed to find anything like tshirts and jeans around this place? I've found some extra clothing while cleaning this past week, but most of them don't fit me and they're not really in a style that I'm used to. So, if anyone needs an extra set of clothes, come find me?

That's one silver lining. [Izuku musters a smile.]

So, he just showed up to the lessons... and watched? That's it?

He tried to pat me on the head.

[Shouto looks incredibly sour about that.]

He did what?

[He says it all with an incredulous look on his face. That sounds so...unlike the Endeavor that he's heard about.]

He said he wants to be a better hero for me.

[G R O S S]

I don't know what All Might said to him.

That's...surprising.

[A soft sigh escapes him.] If anyone could change his mind, it'd be All Might, but... I thought he hated All Might. Do you think he'd really listen to anything he said?

I don't know and I don't care. He's a good hero despite everything else about him. So that doesn't really mean anything to me.

[ Shouto still comes across as sulking. ]

Trying to be a better father or husband would mean a lot more.

[Oh, Todoroki... Izuku doesn't blame him at all for being upset.]

Maybe...that's something you can bring up to him, if he tries to approach you again. [He tugs at his bottom lip nervously.] If it means your mom could get out of the hospital, that can only be a good thing...right?

[ His father can make amends all he wants but Shouto wants nothing to do with him.

But... Mom... ]

She's been there for ten years... It'd be nice if she could leave.

[Izuku watches him carefully, thinking he could guess at Todoroki's train of thought.]

He's done a lot to you and your mom--you don't have to forgive him right away or... at all, if that's what you decide. But if he really means to make amends, I think it could be worth it to see what he does.

Just...whatever happens, don't let this eat at you again, okay? You have me and the others now. We'll have your back if you need us. [He knows it's a lot to ask, considering Todoroki's history, but Izuku doesn't want to see his friend so sad again, the way he was earlier in the year.]

[ Whenever he feels lost Midoriya is right there to help him, isn't he? He shouldn't be surprised that his friend can read him like a book after everything they've been through together. ]

I don't think I can forgive him.

... But thank you, Midoriya.

[Izuku ducks his head, relieved that his words had been well-received.]

You don't have to thank me. Being there for each other is what friends do.

[ There's a moment of uncomfortable silence. Time to be honest and vulnerable again.

At least Midoriya is the only one here. ]

I'm still not... Used to having friends yet. I don't really know what to do.

Just keep doing what you've been doing so far, Todoroki-kun.

You're already being a good friend--you've been looking out for me all this time, and you helped Iida-kun when he was struggling with what happened to his brother, too.

[So he's doing it right.

That's a small relief to hear.]

Of course I'm looking out for you. You're a trouble magnet.

[He makes a tiny, strangled noise in his throat.]

Why does everyone say that?

It's like you walk out into the open and you get attacked by somebody. There was that Nomu that picked you up, and then Shigaraki held you hostage. Then there was that whole thing with Overhaul.

You find more trouble than the rest of us combined.

[Izuku looks like he's about to protest for a moment before grudgingly holding himself back. It is true that the Nomu had singled him out in a group, and he'd had the bad luck of running into Shigaraki at the mall...]

Those weren't exactly my fault. [He says, leaning on his arm and looking disgruntled.]

[Shouto's settled himself on the bed after finding a pair of pants that fits him.]

I'm not saying they are.

I am saying you're weirdly unlucky.

I can't argue with that.

[Izuku tilts his head once he realizes Todoroki's finished picking out an outfit. And then sighs, just a little fondly.]

This is unfair, Todoroki-kun. I'm pretty sure these clothes will look really weird on me, but those actually look fitting on you.

[For being whatever was left over when this place was abandoned, Shouto wears just about anything well.

But he cocks his head ever so slightly to look at Midoriya. They're not too far off when it comes to body type, but Midoriya's shorter than him.]

It wouldn't fit you. I'm taller.

[Because obviously that's what this has to be about.]

[A soft huff of amusement escapes him.]

Not those... I mean the ones I picked out for myself. [Izuku gestures at the clothes he's folded up and set aside on the table.]

I'm sure they'd look good on you.

[That's probably his bias showing, but whatever. Nobody here can read his mind, so it's fine.]

It's too bad we don't know what color these really are.

Maybe we will some day. [He laughs a little.]

Think they'll let us take these back home with us once we find a way out?

[There's a small pause as he seriously considers this, like he does everything.]

I don't know why they'd stop us. We'll probably have been wearing them for a while at that point.

Or maybe it'll take us less time than we expected!

[He says it all hopefully. Gotta stay optimistic.]
