Hi, everyone! This is Izuku Midoriya, in case you don't know my hex code yet.

1. Since it looks like we're stuck here for a while longer, I was thinking it would be a good idea to try collecting more information on this place, specifically the forest. As of right now, it's probably our best bet for finding a way out of here, and it's a source of food, too. [No matter how bad it all tastes.] Yaoyorozu-san and I have been trying to put together a working map, but we just don't have enough information to work with right now.

What do you think of us all working together to map the forest out? If we're successful, we'll be able to mark out the safer paths to take, as well as where we can find anything edible. The more people we have for this, the faster we'll be able to get the information we need!

2. If you've already gone into the forest and encountered something like the shadow monsters or some kind of magical trap, let me know! I can put together a database of sorts on this forum so we all know what kind of danger to look out for when we head in. I'll keep it updated if we run into anything else during this group trip, too.

3. Not related to the information gathering, but has anyone managed to find anything like tshirts and jeans around this place? I've found some extra clothing while cleaning this past week, but most of them don't fit me and they're not really in a style that I'm used to. So, if anyone needs an extra set of clothes, come find me?

Yeah, between the shadow monsters and the magic lake, I think it would be safest for everyone if we're cautious about anything we find in there.

[appraiser]

Do you think there's anything down there in the lake? It's cold, but not impossible to search through underwater.

[inheritance]

Don't go near the lake!!!

There's nothing in it, but it makes you think there is, and tries to trap you underwater when you jump in.

[appraiser]

There's sentience in it? I won't drown if I'm kept underwater.

[inheritance]

There's definitely something, not sure if it's sentience, though. Somehow, the lake knew exactly what to show us to lure us in.

You can breathe underwater??

[appraiser]

I'm curious to see it...
Haha, no I can't!

[inheritance]

[Ryoji, he's so concerned...]

Then how do you keep from drowning?

[appraiser]

I won't drown if I don't breathe.

[inheritance]

[At this point, Izuku's wondering if he should just assign Ryoji to his own team, if only to keep an eye on him.]

I'm not sure if that's how it works, Mochizuki-kun...

[appraiser]

[ He'll be fine... maybe... ]

Drowning is when water or other liquids get inside the lungs and suffocates a person, isn't it? I'll be careful not to inhale any water.

[inheritance]

Oh!! Do you have some kind of power that will let you do that?

[appraiser]

A power...? It's just the way I am. But I suppose, from an outside point of view, you could say that it is.

[inheritance]

That's just the way you are? What do you mean?

[appraiser]

I appear human, but I am not. Basic life-sustaining functions such as food, water, air, and heat do not apply to me.

[inheritance]

You're not?

Wait, is that what the furniture was talking about a few days ago?

[appraiser]

... I'd like to believe they are two separate issues, but yes. The circumstance behind my creation leads into the role I was given. That role was not kind.

[inheritance]

I'm sorry. You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to.

[They might be housemates, but Izuku doesn't want to make him uncomfortable.]

I'm willing to listen if you are, though. I mean...figuratively listen! Since we're technically reading these posts. Unless you're willing to talk in person. But that's obviously up to you, too!

[He should just stop talking at this point, honestly.]

[appraiser]

That's kind of you! I never really had the chance to talk about it, only hearing it from the structures in this place. But I also don't want to scare you, so don't think you have to listen to me for my sake.

[inheritance]

Is it really that bad?

I've heard of some pretty scary things already, so you don't have to worry about that. Besides, it must be lonely not being able to talk about it.

[appraiser]

I think so. But people always think their problems are bigger than they really are. If you're sure, though:

I was created to bring death to the world. My memories were lost, as not to interfere until everything fell into place, and then they came back to me so that I could fulfill my role. I brought death and suffering, all unknowingly, indirectly, but I am still the cause, at the root. That's what the walls were talking about.

[inheritance]

[It's a lot to take in at first, but once Izuku's mulled it over, he notices something important.]

You never mentioned how you felt about all of this.

[appraiser]

How I feel? These are facts. What I feel doesn't change anything.

[inheritance]

[That reply says a lot to him already.]

It might not change what happened, but your feelings are still important.

You said you lost your memories until they were needed again. What happened during that time?

[appraiser]

You mean when I didn't remember any of that? I went to school, if only for a month. It was a very fun time.

[inheritance]

If you were at school, then you must had made some friends there.

You said you had fun there...so you must have had a lot of good memories of it.
