Why are you trying to dig under the well? Do you know how wells work?

Brown and Mark used to make that symbol on their desk as well...is it something that is universal somehow...

Wells are designed to get to the water underground. If you dig under the well, you may be lucky and only find gravel and rock, or you may just cause it to collapse inward from moving around the water that runs under it.

I would first of all suggest to measure out and dig at an angle. This way if this fails, at least there will be an easy way to escape in the future. We might even be able to puncture a hole in the well from the side.

That way at least this experiment will give us beneficial results.

We'll need to find enough rope. I can work without measuring tools, but something like this needs a few basics.

If we use the Hand we'll need to go slowly, least there be useful items hidden underground, or a type of soil that could be useful such as clay.

Ahh another note. Can you use the hand to cut off part of a tree. Perhaps to cut it down. We may need some wood to hold up the tunnel so it doesn't collapse. I thought about using the wood of the boats, but a lot of it seems unusable.
