(Colour)
In wishing for a way to direct our efforts in helping restore the town to full colour, I was given the knowledge that any of the quests that involve creating bonds with others, either positive or negative, are the ones that will have the greatest effect.
So long as we continue doing quests we will accomplish this mission eventually, and every little bit counts. However, I hope that we can all put particular effort into fulfilling quests that will let us form bonds with each other.

However, the quests always requiring at least two people does require some amount of getting along, doesn't it. So I hope you don't hate that aspect too much.
no subject
are you gonna just accept it? just like that? what kind of a spear are you!!
no subject
You can see for yourself that forming bonds is a good thing from what I already stated, however if you wish me to try and convince you further, I can try.
no subject
aren't spears supposed to be like
unstoppable and straightforward or something?
you're the kind that just wilts
oh i meant breaks
then try
no subject
However, just as you are the kind of person who is quick to judge and slow to forgive, I am the kind of spear who is accepting of people as they are.
I would try, as you asked, to convince you further of the good of forming bonds with people, however I wonder if you will take the word of one you regard so poorly.
At the least, you can be assured that negative bonds will also have an effect on the town, so continuing on as you are will pose no great trouble.
no subject
so if you met a gross weirdo who is trying to raise a girl as his "perfect woman" you'd just accept that? what about someone who tells you 'hey, i'm hurting and no one has ever cared about me so i'm taking the rest of the world down with me'?
because someone like that really deserves to be judged
besides negative bonds are also a kind of bond
so that's not a very accepting thing to say
no subject
Would you be willing to meet in person to discuss it further?

where?

You are most welcome to the humble hospitality of our home.
[And have concise but easy to follow directions to Tonbokiri's place in Flavo.]

Those are the quests I can do!
Unless they think we're going to bond while we're fighting demons.

And while all of the quests require at least a little bit of a bond, for the requirement always seems to be working together in at least pairs, there are certainly some quests that encourage "forming a bond" more than others.

I admit, I am not too certain about how this quest will look. It is winter, and frogs will be hard to find.
Though, I do recall reading a fairy tale where a prince was cursed into the form of a frog, and a kiss broke the spell and returned his form.
However, no one here is thus cursed.
[Yet?]

I already don't want to bring along a red to witness me kissing a frog. It'll be even more embarrassing if a prince pops up!
no subject
I would like to encourage you that embarrassment can be a strong forger of bonds...
However I must agree that I would not particularly wish to experience that, either.
But for the sake of the town, if I see a frog, I shall do my duty.

Things that bolster our morale are also very important, and what you gained from your wish is a fine example of such.
And, truth be told, it took me two wishes to come to this result.

The first time, I wished that we would be able to fully restore the colour to this place, and that Mr. White would be satisfied.
I received a private message on the forum, containing only the address of the quest posts.
So that confirmed that fulfilling quests is what we are meant to be doing.
The second time, Nyx-dono gave me the idea to ask for a way to "direct our efforts".
And so I received the knowledge about bonds being important.

However, that is simply how I see it.

[When Tonbokiri reads this his head snaps up, looking around for Maribelle-dono. "Darling?" Wh- What a thing to say-! But it seems that she accepted his comment, so at the least he finishes by typing,]
You're welcome.

That's....
.... not shocking, lol. Still good to know, I guess.
You actually want to help the town itself?
no subject
Yes, I do. If we fulfill the mission the town has given us, then certainly we will have done good here. And then, just as we were brought here, we can all return to where we belong.
no subject
Though I can't help 8ut find the whole thing kind of creepy. Does no one else think it's weird and creepy that whatever omniscient amorphous entity running this town keeps such close ta8s on us?
You think that's the key, huh? Do what they ask of us, go home. That's really .... optimistic!
no subject
But it is what it is. So it is perhaps best to work with it as much as we can.
Thank you. It is hard to know how optimistic to be in this situation sometimes, and one should never stop being cautious. However there is no reason to not think that that will be the end result.
Perhaps, the end result will even depend on what we believe will happen.
no subject
.... actually, that is an interesting thought. That our 8elief could influence the outcome, I mean. That would make general town morale extremely important, as much so as our actions and deeds.
That's ........ annoying. >::::|
no subject
If you find it annoying to the point of distraction, you need not dwell on it overmuch. There is nothing saying that that's the case, after all.
But given that the town is in our minds, and that bonds between us are important, it is perhaps worth consideration.
no subject
It's just pro8lematic! I mean, I honestly do not h8 this place or anything, 8ut I can understand why anyone would. If someone thinks this dum8 fucking town 8lows 8ut they still do their 8est to help out, their thoughts and actions will contradict each other. And I wonder how much our 8eliefs will count!
It is just one more unfair possi8ility in a place that is already full of them.
8ut you are pro8a8ly also right that all of us 8eing 8uddy 8uddy with each other is most important.
Ugh. This place is soooooooo creepy.
no subject
I think I see what you mean. Not knowing is difficult, and it feels unfair, doesn't it.
But at least we know a bit more than before.
All we can do is the best we can.
no subject
It's a8solutely unfair!!!! This whole game is rigged 8eyond 8elief.
I get what you are saying, 8ut man, all this w8ing around just chafes.
no subject
It is taking a long time, isn't it. That is part of why I wanted to know the most efficient way to do this.
And perhaps as time goes on, we will find more things to help us, so it won't feel so unfair.
We know more than we did at the start, after all.
no subject
Sorry, I know I am 8eing really cynical. I am not trying to put what you did down! It was helpful. Just thinking about our glacial progress frustr8s me.
There are people here who have things they need to get 8ack to.
no subject
I need to get back, as well.
no subject
I guess we will all just have to focus on 8ecoming 8est friends with each other! Or 8est enemies, I guess, lol.
