I was trained to use my quirk ever since I was five. That's all.

... No, I'm worse with fire. I didn't want to use it for years.

That... makes sense. I mean, it's kinda scary when it gets outta control, right? I had that problem a lot after I got my powers.

I'm the only one from my world here. I had a teacher back home. Shura. She was really helpin' me with controllin' my power. Like, I've gotten way better than I was a year ago, but... I-I'unno, I guess I'm worried if she's not around I might not get any better? Or, worse, start losin' what I have learned...

It can be hard. The people from home who are here... we're all trying to get better. We were all in one cast.

... And I'm working on my fire, so if you need a sparing partner just message me. I'm not always available, but I'll make time.

Mnnn... well. I've gotten pretty good at makin' my flames only burn what I want 'em to, so nobody gets accidentally hurt. She was workin' on attacks with me when we had lessons last.

[Which has honestly been a while thanks to some of the things Shura herself was going through.]

I do still have issues flarin' up when I get pissed, though. Really, I just wanna make sure I ain't gonna fuck up and burn somethin' down here. Place looks flammable enough as it is.

That's reasonable. The town doesn't look very sturdy.

If the problem is that you lose control should I be trying to make you angry? Or is there something else you'd prefer?

Well I don't wanna be angry on purpose but I guess if that's what I need to do to work on control that's what I should be doin'. Shit, I'unno, it's hard to know what do without Shura here... she made a weird amount'a sense when it came to my powers.

[Weird because despite her upbringing she was still essentially human. Not even Yukio really had any idea how to help Rin outside of 'attempt to keep him out of trouble'.]

[He knows what could make some of his friends angry, but he'd rather not do that to them.]

Yeah. Pain in my tail most of the time but she was good at actually gettin' me to shape up.

Honestly most of the shit that pisses me off is assholes bein' bullies to people weaker than them. ... and makin' me do homework.

I'd say I could go fight somethin' but the only real dangers that have shown up have been the shadows in the forest.
