Hey there, Riku here.

Lots of clean up to be done, so if anyone needs an extra set of hands, I'm at least decent with a hammer and nails. I'm not a carpenter, but I'll do what I can.

Also, did anyone see any strange symbols on any of the dragons?

What kind of symbols were they on the dragons?

No, it's more like I'm looking for a calling card to understand things a little more from my own perspective.

If nothing odd stuck out about the dragons, then I have a lot more legwork to do.

The fact some could talk and others chose not to was weird enough to make me take notice. They could clearly converse if they wanted to.

Definitely not used to the monsters I deal with talking at all. Unless they were 'human' first, I guess.

I'm guessing a lot of them didn't think we were worth talking to. I didn't bother trying to have a chat with them, though, so I can't say for sure.

That doesn't sound like a story with many happy endings.

I tried. They preferred to see me lightly roasted.

It's not, but it's what happens when people allow darkness to take control of them. Talking sense into them... it's not always easy or successful.

I guess you looked more snackworthy than chatworthy.

I have no problem looking like a snack. :)
Although I'd rather not be a literal one.

It's not so easy to just talk about it and there's a lot I actually can't talk about.

Yeah, that whole thing was a while ago.

Can I ask what your usual job is? I can't piece much of anything together except you're good with a hammer and spent some time in another mammal.

Let's say 'adventurer'.

[ He wouldn't call himself a hero. And saying keyblade master is totally off the table here. ]

[ Luckily he's been getting wildly outrageous replies from his team long enough to see a sidestep and know when to go with it. ]

Same. :) I like to ... travel.

It's a lot of work, but it's fun when things go right.

[ Or at least, at the end, it'll be fun to go and travel like he and Sora wanted to for so long. The three of them will be able to do it eventually, he thinks. It's probably the most optimistic thought he still has in him. ]

[ Someone who wants to travel but who has had bad experiences with it not "going right" ... that ironically sounds like a Paladin of Voltron. ]

Have things proved better for you here, even though none of us came by choice?

Actually, no. I have something really important to take care of, so being here is just getting in my way.
