Hello, all! This is Pyra.

The wedding between Xie Lian and Wei Wuxian is cancelled. I sincerely apologize for any of the confusion and to anyone who was looking forward to attending the party.

I would also like to use this this forum post as an opportunity to ask if anyone would like to help with making repairs to the church? It's coming a long way already, and it's looking fairly decent. We still need repairs to the roof, windows, and doors, and there are a lot of other smaller things that need patch work, but we're coming a long way. And maybe when we're done with this church, we can move onto other places like the town hall! Since we all share this town as our home for the time being, I think it's important to take care of it.

Oh and I suppose I have another casual question, for those who are not interested in either of the two topics above. What is your favorite constellation? Or star? Not that all of our worlds have the same stars, but I would still like to hear about them! Do they have a story or a legend that goes with them?

As for constellations, I am fond of one called Leo. It was said to represent a lion who lured warriors to its lair by taking women as hostages. None could defeat it because it was impervious to all weaponry. However, the hero Heracles was strong and clever enough to abandon his weapons and fight the lion with his bare hands. When he defeated it, the god Zeus made his achievement evident for all to see by placing the lion in the night sky.

We can definitely use a little more wood to repair the roof, and just repairs in general. But promise me one thing, if you're going to climb up on the roof, please don't do it without another person around just in case! Someone has to catch you if you fall.

I did not keep any of the enchanted scales that were spread about town, but I do have a roll of dragon hide from the invasion. You may take scales from it as you see fit.
May I ask why the church has been prioritized over the town hall? Does it hold special significance to the people here?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that some sort of quest rewards granted pieces of a puzzle. It made some sort of map that made a connection to the church. [ BUT HONESTLY Pyra hasn't looked too far into that, so. ]

I am repairing it because something like this must have been important to the people here before; I think it should be honored. Of course, the town hall can be next.

You're right about that haha. The reception would have been held elsewhere.... Although now that I actually think about it, that they didn't ever give a location for a reception in the first place.

(It helps that deep deep deep within eons of memories back, she would know of Picasso.) ] we're putting on our own touch to the church. Maybe the finished product will represent both something old and something new!

Well, I can't be upset about planning a wedding that two people don't want! [ Which isn't what she had been upset about. ] That would be mean and silly! In the end, I'm just glad they told me about it so they didn't go through with it. Who knows, maybe there will be a new, actual couple that might need wedding decorations? I'm sure it could happen here. This place celebrates bonds, so... I'm sure even more colors would be restored once two people actually express their love for each other.
