Hello, all! This is Pyra.
The wedding between Xie Lian and Wei Wuxian is cancelled. I sincerely apologize for any of the confusion and to anyone who was looking forward to attending the party.
I would also like to use this this forum post as an opportunity to ask if anyone would like to help with making repairs to the church? It's coming a long way already, and it's looking fairly decent. We still need repairs to the roof, windows, and doors, and there are a lot of other smaller things that need patch work, but we're coming a long way. And maybe when we're done with this church, we can move onto other places like the town hall! Since we all share this town as our home for the time being, I think it's important to take care of it.
Oh and I suppose I have another casual question, for those who are not interested in either of the two topics above. What is your favorite constellation? Or star? Not that all of our worlds have the same stars, but I would still like to hear about them! Do they have a story or a legend that goes with them?
[ Wow this post is all over the place huh ]

Duo Maxwell.

Out of curiosity, do you have any experience with glass or metal works? Or are willing to learn? Some of the windows and their frames do need repairing.

This is Crowe. You all right?
[ She didn't say anything on the wedding announcement post, but it seemed like something she was looking forward to... ]

Were you looking forward to it, Crowe?

I only met Wei Wuxian once, so not much to expect on my side. You were, though, weren't you.
[ Her 'moral compass of the corps' senses are tingling because unfair, all right... ]

Saber has two feelings about the cancellation of that wedding, but it's nothing worth voicing on the forums. (Seriously though she's relieved for Xie Lian. And Lan Wangji can do better.) ]
Hello, Pyra. This is Blue Saber.
I would require instruction, but I would be happy to assist with the rebuilding effort.
As for constellations, I am fond of one called Leo. It was said to represent a lion who lured warriors to its lair by taking women as hostages. None could defeat it because it was impervious to all weaponry. However, the hero Heracles was strong and clever enough to abandon his weapons and fight the lion with his bare hands. When he defeated it, the god Zeus made his achievement evident for all to see by placing the lion in the night sky.

Saber, do you happen to have any of that dragon scales from before? I think that using them as arrangements on the corners of the pews or door frames might add a nice touch.
Ooh, I do like that story. It shows that heroes require both strength in their combat and in their mind, to be clever enough to overcome their enemies' offenses.

May I ask why the church has been prioritized over the town hall? Does it hold special significance to the people here?
[ She understands why people would feel the need for a holy place, but it surprises her a little to see it in this particular circumstance. ]

I would be happy to help with the church. I'm not much of a handyman, but I'm not afraid to get up on a roof or chop wood.
no subject
[ Always happy to hear from him. And while she can certain get to the roof on her own and isn't afraid of heights... it's always better to work together!! ]
We can definitely use a little more wood to repair the roof, and just repairs in general. But promise me one thing, if you're going to climb up on the roof, please don't do it without another person around just in case! Someone has to catch you if you fall.

[ Luckily at this back-dated point there are a bunch of fucking trees around! ]
A giant snake, huh? Like a serpent-type of dragon?

Re: #00CCFF
I feel rather silly for not picking up on that sooner.
[ ....WOW she has no one but herself to blame for falling for this prank, huh. SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SMARTER. ]
May I ask who this is?

I didn't mean the wedding; however, that too would have been fairly overcrowded for the church. A necessity perhaps.
I was talking about everyone coming to help.

[ With Choubee, she's come to abandon PROPER GRAMMAR. There's something so satisfying about not bothering with punctuation and whatnot. It's like there's more honesty and feeling to the text? She's can't explain it, but it feels nice type with more emotion. ]

Was there any particular reason for the church being fixed or was it simply the first thing that came to mind?
:>
The church seems to hold some significance to the town itself. A few months ago people pieced parts of a map together that led back to the church! But also, I believe that it's important to restore the church because it must have been important to those who have lived here. Whatever they believed in, it shows that they had hope, and that's a beautiful thing.
no subject
I can't speak for hope, but it does make sense that such a place would be important. They do tend to be in the center of things and if a map leads to it then even more so. Did they ever find out why the map took them there?
