It’s been a long time. We have many new people here. My name is Dextera.

A few weeks ago, some others and I were able to defeat the powerful creature in the woods that Ryo discovered. When we kept walking after it, we found that the area beyond it was strangely calm and safe. It was a respite unlike anything I’ve ever seen that deep in the woods. We even saw one or two animals that were completely normal. If you’ve seen any of the usual animals from the woods before, you must understand how strange this is.

It was a small area, but it felt “right.”

The second update is that I recently came back from the woods again with Damian. Because the story from #FFFFFF keeps updating, I thought now was a good time to see if we could find any evidence of that man.

After a long time, and I’m sorry if we scared anyone by disappearing, we were able to find what we think were his bones, plus a locket with the picture of a beautiful man and a colorful feather inside of it.

I can’t sense anything like that. Nothing seemed wrong, though. It was just so quiet.

It’s not fair. He just wanted to love someone with all that he had.

I know. He really should have heeded that warning, but I guess love can make you a little stupid.

At any rate, he didn't deserve that.

[ Color ] How horrible, to perish alone. The story says that he may have lost the ability to care, and that all of his bonds broke. But if he had a locket with a picture of the person he loved and adored, perhaps that's not completely true. Perhaps there was still a part of him that did not forget.

Did the bones show any signs how he might have died? Such as trauma?

Not at all. They were even buried, but I don’t know if it was from time, or if someone put him there.

It at least seems like he died peacefully.

How were his bones arranged? That might tell if he might have simply collapsed onto the ground. When people bury others, they usually don't haphazardly throw them into a pit, for instance. Usually a body is arranged in a more respectful manner.

This also reminds me of the vision Akechi told us of before, where he saw a young man in red sadly wait at the edge of the forest day after day. The young man in the story from Mr. F was from the "crimson district" as well. I believe that they are the same person.

In his vision, the young man laid down three different color flowers at the edge of the forest.

Thank you for letting us know, Dextera-san. I hope you, Asuka-kun and everyone else were unharmed.

I do have to wonder, though, how can you be sure those bones belonged to the same man from Bluo the story speaks of? If we have learned anything from visions of the past, he was hardly the only one who ever ventured into the woods to never return.

It’s possible that it was someone else, but the feather makes me think it really was him. I don’t think the town would lead us astray if we were looking for him.

A normal area inside the chaos of the woods? It doesn't make much sense when you start thinking about it. It certainly makes me wonder if that area was there to begin with or appeared more recently.

When you were returning from that area, did anything else seem different? Were the creatures even more agitated than normal?

Not at all.

The only thing is that it took us a lot less time to get out than it did to get in. The woods have always had that power, though. I wonder if it’s possible to extend these calm areas.

That will never make sense to me; the time being shorter to leave than to arrive I mean.

Extending the calm areas would be worth looking into, but that's going by the assumption it will be in the same place as you left it.

the area you mention is interesting as well. is it not affected by whatever has its hold on the rest of the forest?

Other people have found evidence of the hen, even before this. I think that story is a warning.

Maybe. Without knowing why the rest of the forest is the way that it is, it’s hard to say if it’s possible to correct it.

maybe if someone reenacted the story? but avoided the original mistakes.

It doesn’t explain what happened to everyone else. Not yet. I want to believe there’s still hope, but I guess it’s been a long time.

So there may be more clues out there, related to them. I suppose it must have been. And still- it would be good to know, wouldn't it? So that they are not forgotten.
