To my friends in Chroma:

It has been a long time since I last wrote anything here; for those who may not remember or know me my name is Lupin, your former Town Heartthrob and longtime Resident of the town. It is precisely because I have been here for such an extended period of time that I wish to pursue a new Strategy for our Escape. To some of you I have spoken of it already: I plan on sailing out onto the water in search of another shore. The problem keeping me from doing so was the lack of a Boat, until recently. I've made use of that peculiar notebook we've all been given in an attempt to give myself a Boat, but instead found all of the supplies necessary to craft one lying in a heap outside of my home.

[ if you live in Ruga and were wondering what that huge CRASH noise was about 10AM this morning... now you know. There is definitely a gigantic pile of (organized!) wood, stone, steel and rope sitting behind his and Akechi's house. It doesn't go well with the roses at all. ]

Of course this is not an undertaking I can complete alone, which is precisely why I am writing to you all. Monsieur Mikhail has confided in me that he knows how to build a Boat, so I expect he will be able to give us direction - all that is required now is Time and Muscle. If any of you would be willing to assist in the construction of this craft, I cordially invite you to join in. It may be our way out, after all.

Rest assured I will be sure to take proper precautions when we set sail - I am fully aware it will be dangerous and will make no claims to the contrary. Still: my heart grows restless after these 15 months without progress. I believe it's time to start taking risks.

Life is not what I expect to find, at least not any friendly variety of it - I am searching for answers and nothing more. If Fortune smiles upon me then perhaps I will find a clue as to our escape.

Manpower is the resource I need most; I need people to cut, craft, and assemble the various Materials I've received, according to the directions of Mikhail. Is that work you would perhaps be interested in?

i dont know much about building but im really strong and can work for a really long time without getting worn out

not very smart but i can follow directions at least

Then I say you are the man for the job! One of many with any luck, but the man nonetheless! Though I daresay it's rather cruel to call yourself unintelligent; I'm certain you have your own breed of cleverness even though you may not recognize it.

i really am

but i know my limits too
im never gonna have high scores in school and big words confuse me

cooking comes easy to me and ive always been really strong though so i know i can do something with that and its ok if thats all im ever good at

Schoolwork is hardly the measure of one's intelligence. I never attended a day in my life and am as you can see. Furthermore your cleverness in cooking assuredly outstrips mine !
