[He was bit by a Naga. If it weren't for his natural regeneration and demon strength he would be dead right now. This is a fair, horribly painful trade off.

The door isn't locked, though. He looks miserable, pale and exhausted, but he's aive.]

[ Crowe shakes her head, then walks quietly closer to him. ]

Nyx ever heal you, before he came back like he's now?

[ Because if Nyx has tried that since, Nyx is going to get hit. ]

[Rin shook his head.]

The only time I really got hurt around him, we were on that damn island and he wasn't in any shape to do anythin' for me.

[Or himself. Which is why Rin nearly broke when he thought Nyx had died for him. Thankfully that turned out to not be the case.]

[ That really doesn't sound good. She's not sure whether to ask or not... which means, being herself, that she's moving on. ]

If he tries it now, kick him and tell him I'll kick his ass properly.

But also let me know if this feels bad. Just in case.

[ And she's sitting cross-legged in front of the bed, sending gentle, pale blue-green glowing Cure at him and watching for any adverse reactions. (Some status effect don't react well to healing, after all. And she's guessing people here can be different enough that what's good on her world might not be good for some.) ]

[He still doesn't know the entire story of what happened to Nyx when he went home, but Rin wasn't so dumb as to not notice what kind of shape the man was in when he returned. Anything that would cause him further problems should be avoided.

Thankfully it seemed like even if Nyx had seen his forum post, Crowe was the one coming over to take care of him.

He waited quietly to see what would happen, at first not really feeling anything since the base physical damage from the bite had already been dealt with by his own slowed-but-still-present healing. Eventually some of the ache from the lingering poison did fade, though, which was a relief even if it wasn't entirely gone.]
