Despite what most might wish, it's become evident that the lot of us will be here for some time. It's irresponsible to continue without a baseline to work on in regards to sustaining us long term.

A garden is a fair start, of course. However, with the ever-increasing amount of danger, it would be worth investing in a clinic of sorts.

It should be a designated spot, ideally as near to the center of town as is convenient, with supplies available for first aid. If anyone would care to volunteer to maintain it, it would be best to have someone knowledgeable on site or nearby, should their services be required.

We have healers among us to handle more extensive injuries, but if there are any doctors who might be familiar with more than just first-aid as well--perhaps medicine, or experience with making it? If not, then anyone willing to learn will suffice. We may not have the materials needed for anything extensive, but there are those among us who would benefit from even some basic supplements, I'm sure.

It's best to assign such roles early, rather than wait until it's required. We don't know when we might need it.

There are plenty of individuals with some skill in first-aid already who ought to be happy to teach you, I'm sure. While it would be best to have someone already familiar in charge, it wouldn't hurt to have a few spares learning at least the basics, should something happen to them.

Since you're the first to step up, you can be in charge of collecting. If you're unhappy with the assignment I don't particularly care, but it will be up to you to reassign it accordingly, or it won't ever get done.

That's fine with me. I did say I wanted to help. I'll keep a list of the supplies we have, too, so we know when to look for more.

We should probably pick a place first, though. Did you have somewhere in mind already?

Generally the only requirement is that it's near to the center of town, so that those from each district are able to reach it easily. If anything, perhaps nearer to Ruga and Flavo, to account for most of the trouble coming from the forest.

A building between the two would be best, right at the edge of the town's center. I would suggest one from Ruga, given that they seem to have a bit more space.

Of course it's reasonable. Reason is what I'm most skilled with, much to the benefit of everyone here.

Don't you trust your own judgement? Or must you have someone's approval every step of the way? I think I've given clear enough instructions for you to come to a decision on your own.

It's not that I don't trust my judgment, but you were the one who suggested we make a clinic!

I just thought you'd want to approve it in case you had anything specific in mind. It would be less time consuming than if you decided you didn't like what I picked out, right?

I suggested it, yes. That doesn't mean I intend to head the operation. However, you're right in that I ought to ensure the lot of you don't create something wholly untenable.
