[ This color is painful, sorry ]
Good evening,
My name is Mitsuru Kirijo. There has been a lot of discussion about our expeditions, possible theories behind the identity of #FFFFFF, as well as multiple posts about assigning roles and town duties. These are all important to go over in detail, so I come forth with a proposal.
We should conduct a Town Hall Meeting.
I have scouted three potential venues to accommodate our numbers: an old city hall in Ruga (my preference), a library in Bluo, or what appears to be an abandoned church or temple in Flavo. Some clean up might be in order, but to me this seems as good a cause as any.
Is this of interest to the community? If so, please state your interest here, as well as potential topics of discussion that we could cover in an orderly fashion. I am aiming towards a week from now, but a date can be adjusted.
Thank you for your time,
- M. Kirijo

It'd be good if we could talk about what we found in the forest too, I think. It sounds like we all experienced really different things, but there might be something in common if we all share what we saw.
[So it could all come together that way, maybe? He's trying, at least.]

Town meetings are always so terribly dull...
They're useful for distributing information, so I suppose I'll attend should one be organized. Just be aware that there are some who do not or cannot read the forum; it may take longer, but it would be far more cohesive before it begins to gather any potential topics that are skipped over here.
If there's a hall available then I would suggest Ruga as a base of operations, as well. It would be easiest to clean up a place designated for such a purpose, rather than to convert something better suited to another.
[ Not... that he intends to help with any such thing. Oh well. ]
oh good they both have terrible colors
I'm glad you agree. Is that an offer of assistance? It's appreciated.
[ Welp, that's how she's taking it. ]
Yeah they do...

And, seeing as it appears we're going to be here longer than we thought, we should probably have the lot of us fit to certain niches. People to cook and find food, people to nurse, people to handle supplies, explorers, leaders, etc.

But it's good to hear from someone who has experience with this. I would appreciate any assistance.
Indeed. I've seen a few posts about people establishing a clinic and gathering healers of sorts, but actually designating location and roles as a community would be more beneficial.

discussing roles and what's going on currently in the town might be best, as well as efforts that are currently underway, whether on the forum or off it
better to be prepared for what could come next

like i offered before
anyway i think maybe we should talk about the quests
i THINK we have five for that "maybe to do with books" quest
keith and i purloined some books from the woods so if we can someday read those thatd be sweet
minato already covered the forest stuff being a useful topic
uh i guess if we can go yo if you find seeds ante up?
weve got a few more things from the one post tel and i did but if anyone else runs across anything thatd be chill

Quests is an important topic. The fact that we've given any in the first place does indicate that there's a motivation into us being here as well. And I'm glad to know that you're already familiar with a friend of mine.
Go yo?

As for the location, my vote is for the city hall. If we're going to act professionally, we should be in a professional setting.

[ Of which she has fallen victim to. ]
Thank you, I will take that into consideration. Are there any topics that you would like to cover?

is there gonna be a cheat sheet for this meeting later
cuz i am not gonna understand any of it
could make a list of the foods that're back to normal now

[ That's probably not exactly what he was hoping for, but... ]
That's a good idea. It was a surprise to see some color in this world, but food is so important, it does make sense.

I'm particularly curious about the abandoned temple — not as a venue for the meeting, but as a site of exploratory interest in its own right. There's often a fair amount one can learn about a civilization from its places of worship, and if the structure is still intact, there may be useful information about the people that preceded us inside.
Have you explored the temple at all? And would you perhaps be willing to show me where it is?
no subject
Yes, I can certainly do that. I know that our schedules here might not be what they are back home, but is there a time that works for you?

That sounds like a fine idea, Ms. Kirijo. If you hold it, I'll be sure to attend. I think we should address locating our #FFFFFF and crafting better plans for exploration after that forest debacle from earlier - and, of course, more mundane roles, such as gathering food and water and such.

I'm glad to hear it.
Those are all excellent topics. I'm also curious about #FFFFFF. Whether or not they're responsible for this or just a messenger is hard to tell at this point.

It's a great idea to start regular meetings across the districts. Not just for these missions, but to discuss more ways to make living here easier or see if anyone's struggling with somethings others may be equipped to help with.

Yes, I'm glad that you agree. I hope that we can extend this invitation to all of our housemates as well, if they're not able to access this BBS.

If you need another set of hands to help clean up the space I'll help.
How big is the library? We should look into it even if we don't use it as a meeting space.
no subject
It's decently sized. This town isn't particularly large, but it is more than enough to accommodate what the residents might have wanted at one time.

This is an excellent idea, Miss Kirijo.
I believe the old city hall should be used for its original purpose, so that venue gets my personal preference.

Thank you, I'm glad that you agree on both accounts. It sounds that the city hall will most lkely be the venue based on responses thus far.

great idea mitsuru!
i was scouting around, too, but the library and temple are new to me. i can help with the clean up before whatever meeting we have if you need it.
that is to say i am definitely interested in a meeting and talking about what we've discovered so far. keith and i have thrown out ideas that should probably be mentioned to everyone in general too, plus a lot of us went in the forest and haven't shared what is out there yet.

[ But speaking to her so familiarly...a different culture. ]
Excellent. Is there anything in particular you'd like us to cover other than the forest expedition?

A meeting wouldn't hurt. Town hall would work best, I think. I've already tried to encourage self defense, but I don't mind bringing it up again. I don't know if we need anything like a designated military, but knowing who'd be able to step up if anything happened would be good, too.
I can help with the clean up, too.

I would appreciate it. We can use all the help we can get.

This is an excellent idea. I would like to take part in any cleaning or preparations for this if you need assistance.
I have no preference for where this takes place, but I would still very much like to see the library and this temple for myself if you're able to bring people there.
As for what we can discuss, perhaps a list of the strange adversaries and creatures people have come across here, where they are located, and what we know of them and their weaknesses.
We know that there are wolves and harpies. Friends of mine that have went into the forest have also met with some strange beings.
no subject
I would appreciate the assistance, thank you.
There is someone else who is interested in seeing the temple. I can ask if he wouldn't mind another, if that works for you?
Cataloguing creatures we've encountered is an excellent idea! Très bien.
Harpies? I haven't encountered those yet...

This sounds like a great idea.
If nothing else, with people disappearing and other things happening, the more we can share what we all know, the better. That way it's harder for that knowledge to be lost.
