How sure are you that you're still alive? Back where you're from I mean.

Like on a scale from 1 to 10. Where 1 is "I definitely died" and 10 is "I'm definitely still alive" and everything in between.

My cellphone isn't picking up any signals either, but to be fair, I wasn't really expecting to when I turned it on to check.

That probably means the only way we can verify how things turned out back home is by going back where we belong ourselves.

It's not really that complicated, but that might be because I've grown up with it. The short version is that there are three main types of quirks and that you can tell them apart by whether they affect yourself or others and if they are on all the time or if they can be switched off. Mine is like-

like the bristly tail of a cat! You know cats, right? When they get scared or mad their tails get all floofy and bristle up, my quirk's like that! I can bristle up for self-defense or to fight, but I don't have to! Does that make more sense?

And that sounds awesome! Did you travel through a wormhole before?

It makes me curious to know more about where everyone comes from...but maybe not at the cost of everyone's privacy.

Yeah, pretty often. Still don't really understand the physics of it, but they're incredible. And a little disorienting the first time or two.

I'm glad it is!

And that sounds so exciting! The only comparable thing I ever did was to go through a black hole and that wasn't as much traveling than falling through it because the owner of the warp gate skill was a pretty big ass. I and my friend also didn't end up all that far away, we were even still in the same building.

Yeah. It's just as appealing as you're imagining. But you get used to it. It's really not that bad.

Haha. Maybe not. But Hunk is pretty versatile. Though he managed to come up with alternatives to food goo pretty often. That's one of the thing I miss about being at the Castle, I think. The Blade definitely doesn't have a chef. Just the food goo. And the Galra stuff isn't even as good as the Altean stuff.
