How sure are you that you're still alive? Back where you're from I mean.

Like on a scale from 1 to 10. Where 1 is "I definitely died" and 10 is "I'm definitely still alive" and everything in between.

Thanks in advance. I know it's a weird question. I just... I gotta know.

And honestly I'm not sure. I remember being about to die. I don't remember actually dying.

I can be killed. My body can die... but I'll always come back. I don't know about the others.

Were you bleeding, before you got here?

No. I wasn't injured. My spaceship was about to collide with a much bigger spaceship.

That's a good question.

It's possible I guess. If I return to the moment I left from. Doesn't change the fact that I need to get back, that I need to make sure that my being brought here didn't stop the ships from colliding.

And on top of that, it's not right for everyone to be trapped here.

I don’t think it’s so bad to be stuck here. We all have responsibilities in our own worlds, but maybe there’s a reason we came here.

Your spaceships might be intended to do whatever they’ll do without you. Maybe it’s even better if you’re not there.

It'd be nice if you were right, but in my experience, the universe isn't always that kind.

What did you leave behind to want to go back so badly? If you're dead, there's nothing you can do about it anyway.

Last I remember, I put my fighter on a collision course with a ship to take out its barrier before it destroyed a planet, and all my friends, the entire resistance. I just want to make sure my being dragged here didn't do something to ruin that.

That's all. Guess I just need to know how the last few moments go, know my friends are gonna have a chance.

I guess it feels obvious to me. Even if I never get to see it, it's important to me.

Because there are people I care about that I want to be safe?

Because there are good people that I might not know who deserve to live their lives, too.

Nah, it's fine. I guess everyone has their own philosophies they're used to.

Heh. I don't always hear that. Usually people think there are enough moody teenagers in the world.
