This is Lupin, once again, along with monsieur Dave. You may recall my mentioning that the town we find ourselves in has yet to be properly named; my young friend here suggested that we hold a poll and democratically decide on a name for it here. If you care to participate, we can finally have a name for our little prison here.

anyway we have for you a collection of potential names in nonalphabetical random order
if you have a write in ill edit it into the post after
im also gonna keep track of who voted for what and how many votes a thing has
you can change your vote if you want or lobby ppl to change theirs but whichever has the most votes by friday will be what at least lupin and i use to call this place

I am not as well-travelled as you imagine me to be, I'm afraid. My favorite place in the world remains my hometown of Paris.

I'm glad that you agree! A friend of mine has an interest in collecting art, and he told me there's an entire school of thought in the East based around capturing the idea in pottery. I have not known any perfect things, but there are many imperfect things that I hold dear to my heart.

Lately, in my own world... there's an interest in the Baroque style of art. I don't know much about it, personally, but I think the sentiment is the same. Finding something beautiful in dissonance and discordance. "Baroque" itself refers to a misshapen pearl.

I think that's right. I've seen a few baroque paintings in my day.

I'm glad that there's still an interest in that sort of thing, even with the world in such dire straits. Paris has some famous museums that have some baroque art in them; perhaps if you make it there, you can see them yourself.

Ah... I think I would like that. Art is the kind of thing that can soothe the soul, no matter how terrible the world around you is.
