You know, I'm glad that wherever this place is, the Powers That Be apparently recognize that access to the internet is right there in the bottom tier of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, right along with food, water, sleep, and shelter. Apparently there's only this one forum, though? But I guess it's better than nothing.
Anyway, can someone fill me in on this "quests" thing? I know it seems pretty straightforward, "do this quest and win a prize", but what's the deal with the guy who lives in the azure district? Maybe I'm just not following how that fits in?
Apparently I'm a red, though, and I'd kind of like to pull my weight if I'm going to be stuck here for the foreseeable future, so I guess if somebody's in a questy mood, feel free to hit me up. I guess it'd depend on what the quest is, but maybe I can help. Or at least I can increase the overall hotness of our group by 1000% by being a part of it. (That's a joke.)
Maybe this is jinxing it (knock on wood), but this place seems...sort of nice. Like, yeah, we're all stranded here or whatever, but it's got a really "Gilligan's Island" kind of feeling to it? Like, okay, we're technically stuck here on a three-hour tour gone wrong but The Professor is figuring out how to make a washing machine out of a bicycle and some scuba flippers and Mr. Howell's setting up a nine-hole golf course for some reason and Ginger's somehow contributing by sunbathing and being glamorous but it kind of works out, I guess, for morale or whatever.
There was a point to that but it's gone now.
Anyway. Quests. I think I'd like to get in on that, so I'm open to takers.

Geese are monsters but I'll take on an entire mafia of geese for a bar of soap in a hot second.

he's...wearing the same ~laundry fresh~ red pjs as ever. magic is awesome? ]
Hey, Sabrina, over here.

What's up, Salem. So we're going goosing, yeah?
no subject
[ SEXY MURDER - no.
he is already walking. ]
no subject
[She is also walking, apparently full of contempt for spiders.]
Just saying.
no subject
[ that's rose. he is literally comparing summer to rose, because everyone alex plays is secretly rose.
alternately, dave strider really fucking misses rose lalonde. ]
no subject
[Not to mention she looks delighted at the characterization of being a "bossy witch". It's the little things in life you treasure.]
About how far in do we have to go, you think, before we find the spiderthing?
no subject
[ again he needs to stop kidnapping them? ]
no subject
[Fuck geese. But she looks vaguely relieved that the likelihood of running into Spider Territory is slim, here.]
That's half the reason why I'm cool with doing this. Like, the geese probably have it coming. They're geese. They know what they did.
[Speaking of which, there goes one, now.]
no subject
[ he cuts off to like. flashstep towards the goose who gives a Distressed Hink because he knows what comes next - SYLLADEX JAIL.
and yeah that is - ]
One down, eleven to go. [ that goose sure did disappear into hammerspace ]
no subject
[But what's in her expression isn't astonishment or bewilderment — just surprise and intrigue.]
Did you just...you just tossed it somewhere else, right?
no subject
[ if harming geese was a concern here??? ]
As long as I don't launch it at something accidentally, but I ain't thirteen.
no subject
[What a remarkably specific question.]
Well, shit, this is going to be a lot easier than I thought.
no subject
So if we herd 'em to me I can handle them.
no subject
[She thinks a minute, tilting her head like she's trying to recreate it in her mind, and then waves her hand in a sweeping motion — and an identical Distress Hink fills the air.]
Something like that?
no subject
That is pretty much exactly - oh, lord.
[ and here comes the mob of geese to Rescue the supposedly distressed goose.
dave flashsteps into the mob and gets to work ]
