It appears that as a group we've all generally agreed to utilize this forum as a means of sharing relevant information with each other and pooling collectively our experiences as we grow acclimated to our new circumstances, so in a similar vein — a few questions, if you will.

1) Has anything verifiably edible (and safe for consumption) been found in the wilds surrounding this town?

2) Has anyone yet identified a foodstuff that isn't altogether flavorless?

everything i've tried has tasted pretty disgusting, but at least food is easy to find! and it's not so bad if you eat it really, really fast.

What all have you found, may I ask? Anything of particular note?

the same thing as most people, i think! lots of berries, a REALLY weird fish... they filled me up and i feel fine, so i guess that's all that matters. beggars can't be choosers!

"Really weird fish" does seem to be an increasingly common experience. Were you using a net, or did you manage to find a fishing rod somewhere?

my friend made a net, and i used my quirk to send it out into the deepest water i could. so we didn't use anything we found in this place. sorry! but you can use our net if you need to!

That's very kind of you. Perhaps we can arrive at some sort of arrangement — I'm not much for fishing, myself, but when it comes to preparing a catch, I'm rather a deft hand, if I do say so myself.

but do you really think you'll be able to make them taste better?

There's only one way to find out, I suppose. And for the sake of having something to consume that isn't altogether disgusting, I'm willing to make the effort.
