You're cooking a goose? As in, like the ones found in the woods?

[ Ah. Of course. ]

I see. And you have to kill it yourself?

I assume it's probably similar to a pheasant or a hen. All I can remember from asking out of curiosity to the chefs is that the bird must be boiled briefly to remove feathers more easily.

That's all I can offer to you.

[Because after finding that out, kid Nanjo decided not to ask such questions anymore.]

Do you at least know if it's one of the fire-breathing geese that you'll be working with? They can be rather dangerous, if you're not careful.

[ AKIRA WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS.......... ]

Why do I get the impression you might be even more dangerous than the goose?

- Clean the goose outdoors; it's a messy activity and you will have feathers everywhere.
- #4FB6C3 already mentioned this, but boiling the goose makes it easier to remove the feathers. One minute in boiling water is enough.
- Pull the feathers away from the skin in the direction of natural growth. Pulling against their natural growth pattern damages the skin.
- Place the goose on a flat surface with its breast up. This will make it easier to control the incisions when you gut the goose.
- Take care not to puncture the stomach and intestines. Fecal matter and undigested food can contaminate the meat.

[ no YES?? ]

Humans are more dangerous as a species, but you are dangerous to yourself.

But, I see Asuka-kun has already given you instructions, so I should hope you will not try anything too reckless.

Don't mention it. I've done this six times so I thought I'd pass on what I learned.

Plucking feathers is easy, but time-consuming.

I had six dead geese after my attempt to complete the quest.

[ Yep... those poor birds got murderized by Ryo and Akechi. ]

The quest didn't say anything about having to catch them alive.

[ So wanton goose murder happened. ]

That would be easier to do, if you weren't so reckless so often.

But, very well. I will trust you to follow Asuka-kun's instructions closely, and watch out for fire-breathing geese.
