This is Lt. Colonel Guren Ichinose of the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. I don't expect that to mean anything to any of you, but if it can make anyone take me a little more seriously, then I'll take it.

I'm sure you all saw the illustration of those apparent shadow monsters. If there are dangers, it means we should be ready for them, and somehow I've run into a surprising few people who have enough experience in combat. Some of them don't have any at all.

Would any of you be interested in learning how to fight? To defend yourselves? What about the capable out there— are you willing to teach, or spar to improve yourselves? Let me know, and I can set something up for regular practicing.

(OOC: Basically, I thought it might be fun to encourage more random CR with both characters who would like to learn how to fight, and characters who already know how and are willing to teach or spar! If there's enough interest, I can throw up an ooc post with match up sort of things that can provide a semi-regular chance for new CR (via threading or handwaving). Let me know in your tag, or via PM if your character won't tag the post!

Edit: I put up an ooc sign up! Please remember to sign up there if you'd like your character to be included in some fighting (and friendship) styled pair ups!)

demons are kind of a big deal to a lot of people

even ones who arent exorcists

uh yeah, sword. its called kurikara and it was a super ancient demon sword from a buddhist temple before it got to me

my power is basically fire? like blue flames. took me a while to control it but now i can burn what i want to and not hurt anyone i don't want to with them

Since I'm using a black demon series cursed gear, the demon I use is in my heart. It's a little backwards.

I'll be interested in seeing what you can do.

Makes him think of Shima's demon, but this guy seems pretty firmly on the side of helping everyone who is stuck here, unlike a certain pink haired traitor. Rin would rather not have to worry about things like that again.]

[This guy... He's definitely going to save that if she does show up. But for now, Guren, being an actual half-demon of sorts himself— a namanari, has to laugh aloud at himself about it being freaky.]

[Kawaii tbh. But Guren is intrigued, and he can't waits to see how Rin handles everything. He's already brainstorming great ideas for everyone.]
