After recent events, I think it'd be in our best interest to take a headcount.

If you could list anyone who won't see this post either, I would appreciate that as well.

The defense force will keep a list of everyone within the town and have it updated when people arrive and disappear. It'll be good for tracking patterns on how people are brought to the town and what colors are being emphasized in particular. If we're separated again we'll know just how many people should be present and no one is lost in the shuffle.

Another thing, I'll be working on a map of the town to keep in a public space (such as, near the well) for easy accessibility. I think it would be in our benefit to add a list of residencies along with it -- name and hex code included. It would be for those who need to meet each other but have only interacted on the forums, for instance. Being able to reference a map and find someone's home from there will be helpful.

This would be an opt-in practice, you would only need to publicly list yourself if you wanted to.

Any other thoughts and comments on these two ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

Not too differently from how I used to do it back home, honestly.
Just finding ways to keep busy. Training, keeping up with hobbies that I can still manage to keep up with in this place, doing basic survival shit.
The only difference here is that I'm not diving to explore the ruins of civilization and instead just wander around a little.
Which is more boring, but whatever. At least there's people.

Ok to answer both those questions there's a bit of explanation required.
So mild sob story alert, I guess.
I'm from a post apocalyptic world as one of two survivors where the entire earth got flooded thanks to an overzealous power grab by an aquatic alien empress.
Hence the ruins of civilization and the training was to survive and hopefully get to kick her ass some day.

Shrug. It's not like I knew any better.
I did manage to get off Earth before I came here. Although that wasn't all that much better, just more dead planets.
But now I'm here and there's green and people so I can't complain.

Sometimes even bad things can bring the positive to light. At least you've found something nice here.

I never thought about the two correlating, but I guess it makes sense going from a dead planet to a dead universe.
But sort of.

I didn't think outside circumstances would influence our game's session, but in hindsight I suppose it makes sense.

Dave is my alternate universe brother. He's got his best friend here and I've got mine.

Yes. Don't all worlds by the virtue of the multiverse theory actually being a thing?
Although I guess awareness of said universes might vary depending on each world.

Yes. I mean more the awareness of it. You're aware of your alternate universes back home, even if it's not a common thing for people to be aware of?

Do you interact with your alternate selves much or is it a situation like you and your brother usually?

Yeah, I am.
And I've dealt with alternate selves before in a manner of speaking, but not the one from Dave's universe.
Sounds like you have some experience dealing with alternate universe shenanigans too.

Some. Like I've said before, the city I come from is a little strange.

It isn't exactly common around here though.

Technically we've all been pulled into some black-and-white fairy tale alternate universe so it's everyone's reality now. There's no denying the multiverse theory at this point.
But we've been spared running into different versions of ourselves.
Or at least so far. Hopefully it stays that way.
