one 🦇 #00CCFF

[ So, Bruce's color is #F6DB2C but this is actually coming from #00CCFF. Wonder who that could be!! (It's Damian's handle.) ]

After recent events, I think it'd be in our best interest to take a headcount.

Please reply to this post with your name and hex code.

If you could list anyone who won't see this post either, I would appreciate that as well.

The defense force will keep a list of everyone within the town and have it updated when people arrive and disappear. It'll be good for tracking patterns on how people are brought to the town and what colors are being emphasized in particular. If we're separated again we'll know just how many people should be present and no one is lost in the shuffle.

Another thing, I'll be working on a map of the town to keep in a public space (such as, near the well) for easy accessibility. I think it would be in our benefit to add a list of residencies along with it -- name and hex code included. It would be for those who need to meet each other but have only interacted on the forums, for instance. Being able to reference a map and find someone's home from there will be helpful.

This would be an opt-in practice, you would only need to publicly list yourself if you wanted to.

Any other thoughts and comments on these two ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

[ Oh, Bruce. You and your acrobats. And your delinquents, and your child assassins, and your...Tim. ]

I'm not sure. I've heard some people argue that the setup here seems like it has to have someone with a direct hand in arranging things. But where I come from, there have been artifacts powerful enough to create something like this simply by being reactive to the thoughts and desires of the people around them. And given how some of the things we've seen have been almost eerily on the nose in terms of how to get strong reactions from us, I can't help but think of that.

But whether we're dealing with someone deliberately arranging things or an automated system that was already in place to do...something, it knows or can discern a lot more about us than I'm comfortable with.
[ To be fair, it would take very little information being in someone else's before he'd be uncomfortable with it. ]

I don't have much of a sample size of manipulative masterminds to compare to, but what I've seen backs that up.

[ How many evil masterminds does this guy know, anyway? Here Joshua thought his life was full of them... ]
