The bogeyman that was hiding in town has finally been defeated, but it was at the cost of three lives. Dave, John and Dextera. I couldn't save them. I'm sorry.

Okuyasu and Asuka are badly injured, but are currently being treated for it. [He is too? He's bleeding all over his laptop, but it's fine.]

Dextera's body changed into something else, but the other two are still remaining. I think they both have family here, or something close. You can contact me and I'll tell you where they are, so you can arrange a burial or whatever you think is best.

I take full responsibility for this. There's still going to be a defense force meeting at the beginning of next month, so we can talk about it then. I know there could still be people missing from the werewolf thing, too, so keep your eyes open for them, alive or otherwise. If you have questions, I'll try to answer them.

[Of course, after this, he'll be in his room at his laptop, so people are free to come bother him. He's covered in blood, most notably a stab wound straight through his chest at the heart, and it looks like he's only partially been able to deal with that. He's not bleeding out as quickly? But his healing isn't working. He's only just barely come back to consciousness from Mahiru taking over.]

[It doesn't take her long to arrive at his house, and Ochako doesn't bother to stand around and wait for someone to invite her in; instead, she gives the briefest of courtesy knocks before she just, you know... opens the door and hurries right inside. Manners? Who cares about manners in the middle of a crisis? She quickly glances around the bottom floor, making sure she isn't missing him somewhere, before heading to the stairs and calling:]

Guren? It's Ochako! I'm coming up, okay?

[And up she comes! Hopefully he's resting in bed, because unless she hears him stumbling about somewhere else, she's going straight to his room and peeking her head inside.]

[Well, at least he's not thumping around anywhere else. He's in his room, but not in bed at all. There's no blood leading up to his room or trailing anywhere but inside of it, where she'll see quite a mess. He's got that wound straight through his chest at his heart, gashes on his front, his side, and bruises all over! Yay.

Anyway, her courtesy knock means he didn't get too far, so she'll see him staggering up from his laptop in what was an attempt to get to the door first.]

[You know, hearing a secondhand account of his injuries was one thing; seeing them in person, however, is something else entirely. Ochako remains frozen in the doorway for a moment, eyes noticeably widening as she takes in his general state. That chest wound! She saw his shadow stab him, and she remembers how he heals, but why is it still... like that? Oh, Guren...]

You shouldn't be up. [Quiet, yet firm! She finally enters the room, depositing her small pile of items—a stack of clean towels, a decent-sized container of food, a first-aid kit—on to the desk beside him before giving him a pointed look.] Grab my shoulder, and please don't argue.

[Her hero training is coming in clutch here! As b a d as this situation is, she's managing to stay calm and composed.]

[So... he ditched Josuke, left him with Ryo and Okuyasu and came here after his heart itself was healed. Good enough, right? He had still been possessed, then, anyway.

But, there's no arguing, nothing but blank, hollow stares and his hand reaching out to grab her shoulder.]
