(color!)

hey sup
despite this slightly less attractive shade this is dave
i mean john is here but i am too
and as the arguably more attractive of the two of us im going first
i got more votes at prom that means its true
but anyway just mentally call up my red i know you can do it
obviously the rumors of our demise were greatly exaggerated
or like
not that exaggerated
that definitely happened
but things are copacetic now
aside from the weird few days where i felt like a reject mascot from a kids show

what dave is TRYING to say is that hey, we're back. it looks like guren maybe sort of explained what happened (sorry guren! and okuyasu! and everyone else?)
i think the boogeyman was defeated right? if we could get details on how it all finished that would be pretty good.
here's a fun fact for you: when you come back from the dead, you get to look all sketchy and weird. i'm not sure we even recognized each other, we were just in our house assuming we were supposed to be there.
we would have been in touch sooner but i don't think we could have been.
it's been a couple of days though...dave probably has a more specific count.

four days total dude
two days gone two days in weirdass mode
im not gonna go into minutes and seconds thats useless to anyone not me
it was like being a coloring book only instead of waxy crayola goodness we were being filled with like
speech and not looking creepy as fuck
gotta say godtier revival is a lot neater than that bullshit
and also generally more reliable bc idk how much we can rely on the sketch bullshit
probably not dying is still an excellent course of action for anyone who prefers not being dead
you know
as per usual
in more important news two days spent puttering around banging on the piano led to a life changing decision and were starting a band
i would say a boy band but were accepting of all genders
and instruments
and like musical creeds
although imma judge you a bit for musical tastes probably but like you can still come and join and hang and jam
and john will judge you less probably
maybe
or at least hell smile goofily while he judges you so really what have you got to lose
other than free time which lbr we all have way too much of
were still arguing about band names or if an informal jam session even requires one
hint john has awful naming sensibilities and mine are amazing

ok more like the opposite of that is true! jeez.
but like he said, we are actually open to people coming over and playing at our place.
the piano is technically portable if we feel like it but i kind of don’t want to, so just let us know. thanks!
oh. is there anything else we’ve missed in the last four days? thanks again.

That's a good question. I guess I'd tell a story that made myself seem kind of sympathetic? If I was asking for help somehow, or something like that.

It could be. Or it's worse, and we've only got the story as a front.

We really just don't have enough info still. It's a little frustrating, I'll admit that.

With a couple of lines every couple of weeks? I've noticed it too. It's like we're being told a bedtime story.

i'm not sure... There isn't enough information yet, I think. This could be a regular fairy tale, or it could be something else entirely.

It could be. If it is, then I think we should probably pay really close attention to it.

If it's not, though, wouldn't we just be on the wrong track entirely?

That's a good way to look at it. Okay, I'm on board with Operation: Look at the story the way John does.

I didn't think of that either, but that's a good idea. It'd be a shame to lose any of it, in case we need it later. It'd be just like some sort of fantasy movie for the helpful hints to go away right when we need them.

That's a good idea. It's not like it's long yet, so it wouldn't be too hard for multiple people to keep a good record of it.

I'm kind of surprised we haven't... I guess once Mitsuru-senpai left, we stopped doing those town meetings, but it might not hurt to have a forum discussion at some point.

I think no matter which, we're going to run into the problem of some people not using the forum much... but even if we try to do an in person meeting, we'd still be advertising on the forum.

[So...same problem, over and over.]

So I guess maybe the forum to start? It's more accessible, and then we can just link people to it later if more new people show up.

If we could be admins of the forum like that, we could probably manage a lot more than just pinning posts.

But yeah, I think that's a great idea. It sounds kind of fun to me too. A list of things that people tend to ask when they show up, and what we've found in the forest and stuff like that would be useful.

Yeah, that would probably be pretty doable actually. Everyone could collaborate, so it'd all come together in a pretty logical guide. And that way we don't lose any information if people go home.

[BECAUSE THAT'S WHERE THEY'RE GOING, DAMMIT. HE CAN'T ACCEPT ANYTHING ELSE.]
